Lately

Lots of workouts! Love this pullover and leggings

Lots of cozy lounging over 'break'. Similar pajamas

Fun outing with my mom and sister when my sister was in town for Christmas!

A few walks with Henry. The weather did not cooperate much!

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, if you celebrate! I also hope your 2026 is off to a great start. You'll notice that since there will be no posts on Wednesdays, Lately will be fuller each week!

We had a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We did all the traditions that I hold dear. I spent my week off between Christmas and New Year's just hanging out, getting organized, and relaxing. It was very uneventful, and lowkey, and I loved it. I feel rested and ready to take on a new year.

I am not one for resolutions, as I think, regardless of calendars, you can continually improve or change in any facet you'd like. For example, I've been focused on cutting back on scrolling for the last several months. I saw this video and instantly knew I wanted to cut back! Some of you may have a similar desire to cut back as well! Even though I've been working on this for months, I'm still trying! This is a tough one for me.

Overall, I really had the best 2025 personally and professionally. That was one of my best years, so I feel that 2026 has big shoes to fill.

I always say this after a vacation or holiday, but man, I love my routine, and I am always happy to get back into a groove. I think a break is always necessary, though. Being able to step away always gives me space to think. I become more creative the more free time I have! I have a nice big list of content I hope to roll out in the coming days, weeks, and months that I feel excited about.

Other than that, there is not too much to report. This is the doldrums of winter. I feel like winter started so much earlier here. December was much colder and snowier than usual. I am already feeling a bit burnt out from the snow, gray, and cold. Though this year I can't complain too much, as we will be spending a few weeks in Florida. I'm truly counting down the days. In the meantime, I always try to make the best of this season. We are going out to dinner with my parents tonight and then have some fun plans for a triple date night on Saturday! My girlfriends and I booked our tickets for this back in August, ha!

Lake just gifted me this set. It's similar to my favorite, Relax set. It's the same fabric, but the pants are cut in a jogger style, and the top is cut more like a sweatshirt.  I love the fit! They also have lots of new arrivals for Valentine's Day!

Wearing: Post-Christmas, I've been very casual! Not too many gorgeous outfits to share!

You can find me on ShopMy, where I link all of my outfits, favorite finds, home decor, beauty, and more! I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also follow me on the LTK app. Plus, you are able to access all of my posts, here, on my website!

Eating: I was feeling under the weather one night over the 'break' and craved Hamburger Helper... which I am unsure I've even had before! Anyway, my husband made this homemade recipe for HH, and it was SO good. It was so flavorful and the perfect cozy winter dish.

This butter is UNREAL. I found it at Whole Foods and was intrigued. I had never seen it there before. I hope they continue to stock it because it's so flavorful and the perfect amount of salt.

Sale: J.McLaughlin is having a really good men’s sale, with an extra 40% off the sale price. The prices are good… like *really* good. We ordered quite a few things for my husband, and some of the items were coming down to $40-$50ish!

The Spanx end-of-season sale is worth browsing. There is so much on sale and the discounts are deep.. up to 60% off! You guys know how much I love these corduroys, and they're on sale for under $80 in black right now. My mom loves them, too!

I've been eyeing these earrings on sale for the last few weeks. I can't decide whether to order. I love this jewelry brand! What do you all think?

Watching: I watched the first season of Maxton Hall on Prime and enjoyed it. It's Gossip Girl-esque in that it's set at an elite private school. It's a German show filmed in the UK, so it's dubbed over in English, which is something to get used to, but it's worth watching! I started on the second season, but it's a bit cheesier than the first, so I haven't been able to get through it.

I always look forward to Google's Year in Search video

I absolutely loved Run Away on Netflix. I watched it over a few days; I could not get enough. It's a Harlan Coben show, which I've generally loved all of on Netflix. This one, in particular, is so fast-paced and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

I'm also loving the new season of 90 Day FiancĂ©: Before the 90 Days. This is always my favorite in the series, and this season is no exception. I got into this show during the pandemic and have been hooked ever since.

I still have Stranger Things on my list to watch, but other than that, what are you all watching and loving? January is when I spend more time than usual watching TV!

Listening: I am actually glad to have stopped listening to Christmas music. I *love* it, but it's all I was listening to for weeks on end. I'm back to my sax and trumpet jazz playlist that I listen to while I work and often while we cook dinner. It's nice background music!

Loving: I just finished this cleanser, and it was my first time using it. It was a solid moisturizer, and the large bottle was under $20. I'd say it's great for any skin type. It did not strip my skin at all, but left it feeling clean. My husband and I have both been very into this brand overall.

Wanting:
So excited about the US Ski and Snowboard collection from J.Crew that comes out today! This is called the 'Sydney' blouse, so naturally, I was drawn to it! Teleties just launched hairbrushes! I just got the vented one gifted to me from the brand and have been loving it for wet hair! I've always loved pink and green together, and this glassware is stunning. It looks like something that would be $$$ on Moda. But thankfully, it's not! The rollneck sweaters always get me, and so do stripes, so this sweater is like a double-whammy! This canvas bucket bag! Love! Need this sherpa vest, I love a pop of red in the wintertime! This pendant from JW is so good! I've been very into chartreuse, and these pants are delightful. The new apres collection from Minnow is adorable. I just love this brand. Another fave brand, Weezie, just launched their Valentine's collection, which is, of course, lovely. I'm not someone who decorates for Valentine's Day, but I can get behind a small touch, like this. This little yellow leather bucket bag is darling and on sale. I also love this tiny little red version on sale, too! This is such a fun sweater. I love how they paired it with cream denim. I sent my dad a link to these pants that are an extra 40% off the sale price. They are right up his alley. Love this shift dress, very much Samantha Stevens approved! This wrap jacket is the perfect spring piece. A gorgeous wedding guest dress that comes in black for now and light blue, perfect for spring! I'm not typically one for designer sneakers, but these are so cool and on sale! These juice glasses are so good. A cute and classic mockneck sweatshirt. Loving all of the new Mille arrivals! My code SYDNEY15 should still work for Mille. Have you all seen that there is a new version of the CB red light mask? It's called the 'skin' version and has 6 different wavelengths (colors), so not just red. The different colors penetrate different depths of the skin. There are 556 lights compared to the mask I use, with just 236. The new mask is steep $$$, but I think what's great is that with every new model, the older models will become less costly! Consider me intrigued. Love this striped jacket

Pittsburgh: We tried La Vera pizza in Mt. Lebanon, and it was good but not my favorite. Lately, we have been big fans of Rockaway and Badamos, but I always like to switch it up since there is so much good pizza here!

Restaurant week starts on the 12th! There hasn't been anything too thrilling on the list over the past few years, but I feel like January is such a slow month that we may take advantage and try somewhere new!

Amazon Rec: My husband made chicken parm this weekend, and always uses the meat tenderizer to get the chicken very thin. I got him this for Christmas one year, as I'm always looking for good kitchen gifts for him because he loves to cook. It's seriously the nicest mallet out there, which is such a random thing to recommend, but it really is functional and beautiful.

I swear, over the last month or so, I have seen 10+ people recommend this toothpaste on social media, and curiosity got the best of me! Just look at the reviews. I just started using it, and I really like it. It's supposed to be superior with teeth whitening. I haven't noticed any dramatic results, but I will say, I think it works well to clean my teeth/mouth. My teeth are already pretty white, but I'd like to keep them that way. It's tough because I drink a cup of coffee each morning and then a cup or two of green tea later in the day. I actually think the green tea likely stains my teeth more than the coffee does!

Traveling: We are planning a few trips for 2026, and I'm so excited. I feel like this is going to be another good year of travel, knock on wood!
