Hello from Florida! Sharing a very vibrant outfit with you all today. I have been so glad to ditch a coat and boots and feel like I can have fun with clothes again since I don't have to consider salt, snow, and frigid temperatures! Speaking of snow, I hope you all are staying warm and safe in the northeast. I cannot get over how much snow you all got!!
It was very hot and humid when we arrived this weekend, but it has since become chilly, as of yesterday, and again today. Some of you were messaging me that it is cold, but to me, it just feels like a tropical oasis! It's supposed to warm up tomorrow, and I think I'm just going to sunbathe all day long!
Anyway, I thought I would share an outfit I wore the other night... an old school outfit post, if you will. I took these photos on the deck of our rental just before sunset, before we headed out for dinner! We have eaten lots of delicious foods down here, though so far, Gallions has been the highlight for me, food-wise! I'll have a full 30A travel guide when I return. We are here for a few weeks!
I loved this Yellow Cashmere Cardigan as soon as I laid eyes on it! The color is so perfect. It's a golden yellow. I'd call it 'marigold'. It's so bright and cheery without being neon. And the knot buttons add a subtle, unique touch.
I've had this Striped Shirt for 5 or 6 years now, and it's always a go-to for me. Aren't these Printed Pants fun?! The print is very Samantha Stevens, especially in the later seasons, when she leans more into 70s fashion.
Everything I am wearing is true to size. I got a small in the cardigan and a 4 in the pants! I'm 5'6" for your reference. The Printed Pants are the perfect length for me to wear both flats and heels.
Not having to wear socks felt foreign to me when I slipped on these Espadrille Wedges. The best change of pace after my feet have been in boots for the last 8 weeks. It's going to be so hard to put books back on when I return home! These wedges are a go-to for me, especially for transitional dressing, because they cover my toes! Although they are high, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've walked nearly 10k steps in them before and never had any issues.
We won't get true spring weather in Pittsburgh until April, and even then, it can be iffy, but this is the exact type of outfit you'll find me wearing in April in Pittsburgh! It's warm enough, but it looks like spring, and the colors make me so happy!
