I hope you are all having a great week so far! I am assuming many of you are starting your weekends today. We are headed to Charleston, and I am so excited! It's going to be sweltering, but I am *shocked* that it will actually be hotter here in Pittsburgh than in Charleston! I have never been in the summer months, but my husband and I were just itching to go and didn't have any big 4th plans, so Charleston it is!
I mentioned last week how I was suffering from a bout of more intense anxiety, and there has been improvement this week, which I am so glad about. I'm excited for this weekend, and I'm not even going to bring my computer, which is SO rare. I normally bring it everywhere with me, but not this time. A true little vacation, woo!
I was gifted this, and it is absolutely stunning, truly a remarkable piece. My first ever piece from this brand, though I have long admired their swimsuits! It's more of a fall piece, but I think it looks nice with crisp white right now. My husband refers to it as 'a wallpaper jacket', ha! A similar, less costly option is this jacket- still pricey, but it has a more summer vibe!

Eating: This butter from Whole Foods, Beurre D'Isigny, is absolutely incredible. It's the best butter I have ever had. I see all of these reels of people traveling back to the US from France with butter, and you really don't have to do that because of this butter. It's imported straight from France, specifically a region well-known for its dairy products. It's so rich, with the most divine salt crystals.

I love this jewelry brand for its unique and high-quality pieces. Quite a few beautiful things are 40% off (which doesn't happen often). The pieces are pricey, so it's amazing to snag them at such a deep discount! This bracelet is my top pick!

Watching: We finished 'I Will Find You' on Netflix. It's a Harlan Coben thriller. It was good! Not my favorite, but worth the watch! I'm so into the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (Netflix) right now! I always love every season. Other than that, we aren't really watching much! Of course, my husband has the World Cup on all the time. I'm not into soccer, but this has been fun to watch!
Listening: I often put Freeform on the TV as background noise, and there is a Paw Patrol movie commercial every other minute, I swear. Anyway, the Backstreet Boys did a song for the movie, and it's in the commercial. It's called 'Bottle Up,' and it's so catchy I had to look it up, and now I play it on repeat. It's just a fun, poppy feel-good song! Though if I were listening to this song and someone asked me who I thought sang it, I would say the Jonas Brothers, I would never have guessed the Backstreet Boys!
Loving: The wonderful, Alexa, from Charm Lane sent me this gorgeous necklace. She quit her full-time job at Meta and created this beautiful jewelry brand! She has such beautiful taste and designs, and I know you all would love her, too! As a jasperware lover, this necklace is sooo right up my alley. It reminds me of our wedding, when I collected so many jasperware pieces for the decor!
Wanting: This is a fun, bold necklace. A chic and timeless little dress. Love the blue-and-white floral print on these pants. Lots of cute new summer arrivals from Lake! Love this little white nightgown that can double as a cover-up. I also love this cute blue dress! I need this fish skirt for the lake later this summer!!!! These blue and white dinner plates are the perfect everyday dinnerware! This sailboat pullover is calling my name! These gingham shorts are darling, and there is a coordinating top, too! This green dress is the most fabulous dress for a wedding guest! A very fabulous caftan! One of my all-time favorite polo shirts- the relaxed fit is the best! I want this dress! I have and love this style, and the colors and pattern on this are so good! This yellow linen dress is summertime perfection. I love the square neckline on this dress (on sale). Another amazing under $100 skincare bundle/set! A gorgeous cuff bracelet! Very interested to try this serum stick! The cutest wreath ribbon!
Pittsburgh: I have so many thoughts about Giant Eagle selling to Kroger. For those who aren't local, Giant Eagle is our regional grocery chain. They're saying the name will stay, the headquarters will remain in Pittsburgh, and employees won't be affected. I guess only time will tell.
I'm not a huge Giant Eagle fan because, in general, I find their prices to be outrageous. And that's coming from someone who shops at Whole Foods quite a bit, which certainly isn't known for bargain prices. But Giant Eagle's prices are often, in my opinion, jaw-droppingly high.
That said, there's so much nostalgia tied to 'The Iggle' being a Pittsburgh family-owned company. And the cake!!!!!! Giant Eagle's white cake with white icing is, without question, the best cake on the planet. If they change that cake, I will be absolutely heartbroken. When the news broke, multiple people texted me because they know my love for that cake runs so deep!
For a little levity, this 96.1 video had me cracking up!
Amazon Rec: I panic-ordered this anti-humidity mist. I already use one I love for wet hair, but I wanted something I could spray on dry hair, and this fit the bill. Hoping it treats me well while in Charleston!

Smelling: This is, admittedly, not my top favorite perfume. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but there are others I love even more. However, this one always gets me the most compliments from complete strangers. I swear, every time I wear this, someone asks me what I am wearing! The notes are: Rhubarb, Lychee, Bergamot Essence, Turkish Rose, Peony, Vanilla, Cashmeran, Musk, Vetiver. As someone who doesn't love rose or vanilla scents, I can't really smell either in the mix. I can really smell the lychee, bergamot, and vetiver!
Traveling: We are off to Charleston, our next trip will be to the lake, and to Old Edwards in Highlands to celebrate our anniversary! Lots to look forward to!
