I'm Graduating With My Blanky

I'm 22 years old. I'm a few days away from holding my college diploma, yet I still have my blanky. In fact, It is sitting in my lap as I type this...even more raggedy than before.

Remember this post from 2 years ago? I still sleep with my blanky every night and take it on vacations but it never leaves my bed. Many of my friends at school still have their blankies so I've never really thought twice about it. Well, a lot of you let me know in the comments that I am not alone! So, I figured that since many of you have admitted that you still hold onto your blanky/lovey/stuffed object, that I should let you know this fun fact that I stumbled upon on Wikipedia....

It says, "It was revealed that people who sleep with comfort blankets are in fact more independent than those who do not. The theory is that children who use a comfort blanket are more likely to detach themselves from their parents because of the increase in security which the blanket provides."
So, my blanky may be around for years to come! Weigh in again... do you still have your blanky?!  Have a fabulous day!

sCe

Bridier Baubles

The lovely KAG of Monograms and Martinis has opened up shop: Bridier Baubles and it could not be more delightful. Colorful and fun costume jewelry for very reasonable prices is the specialty. Needless to say, I'm in love!
KAG generously sent me to gorgeous Boca Grande necklace in burnt orange to try out and I have to say, I could not be more please. Doesn't it look great paired with a nautical striped top, denim, and Jack's? It is the perfect shade of orange-- it matches perfectly with my J. Crew orange enamel bangle that I recently purchased.
I could not be happier about the package. The presentation was gorgeous. KAG sent me a hand written note that was so thoughtful. There was also a surprise...matching earrings! I can tell you I will be shopping with Bridier Baubles in the future. What a great gift any of these pieces would make!
The next piece I have my eye on is the Britta Bead necklace! At $27, it is a steal and will look so great in the summer! Have you shopped Bridier Baubles? What are your favorite picks? Thank you again to KAG and Bridier Baubles!

Next on the agenda, gorgeous Melly M pieces are up on Ruelala today! Who is shopping and hoping to score some great deals? Melly M has the most perfect colorful frocks for summer. I can't get enough!

Last but not least, today is the last day to enter the Graduation Guessing Giveaway. You have until tonight at midnight to guess what my (very soon to be) alma mater is! I already have posts scheduled for Saturday and Monday to reveal the correct school! Plus, I want to be able to Instagram/Facebook pictures of me in my cap and gown, you only graduate undergrad once, right?!

I honestly have loved this fun little guessing game. It's fun to hear what school you all think I attend. There are definitely two schools that have about equal guesses...hint...hint.

Dear Graduation Fairy...

Happy May!! So, I happen to be graduating... Have I mentioned that recently?! Anyways, I thought instead of doing a graduation gift guide, I'd do a list of what I'd like to receive for graduation.
I love this print and have yet to own a Murfee so it is about time!

This is another closet staple that I don't own. It definitely needs to get into my wardrobe. Plus, I just love how BAH of Panache monogrammed hers! What a perfect idea. Question about these: Should I get a small or medium? I've never even tried one on and can't decide if I want it fitted or roomy-- how do you wear yours? Most of my half zip fleeces I like roomy.
Le sigh.  I know I would break this within days of wearing it... But it's so pretty.
MacBook Pro... 13" or 15" or 17"?!
This is not even a want at this point, it's a need. I won't even bring up "the computer that shall not be named", cough DELL cough, because it is ready to bite-the-dust. Finally. I've Tweeted/blogged/etc. about how much I hate my Dell. It literally is the worst computer I've ever owned. But still, I consider myself lucky and am thankful to have a computer (thanks Mom and Dad!). I'm ready for the Mac world. The only thing is I am wondering which size I should get; 13", 15", or 17"? I am leaning towards the 15" because I feel that the 17" will be too large to fit in some of my tote bags and then the 13" will be a little smaller than I'd like. Feel free to weigh-in under the comments!

I'm a big girl now! No, not the pull-ups commercial, but really, after my disastrous experience with Gallery Leather, I think it's time I get my hands on this gem.
 Sheridan French Clutch
I love that this is such a vibrant blue hue. It is a perfect match for a tan, little white shift, gold Jacks, and a gold cocktail ring.
But really... I tried to score a clic clac on Rue La La a few weeks ago, but they were sold out before I could snatch one.
Alright, I am going to stop now before I get a phone call from my parents asking me if I think I'm getting a "job" as a socialite upon graduation...Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe
