Pink and Green Greek

A popular theme for college parties is the never-get-old toga party! Don't let folding and twisting yourself into a sheet turn you off. After trying it out myself, it is super easy to create a very cute toga, and of course, you can make it all your own. I of course used my green seersucker twin sheet with pink flamingos scattered all over. I added gold accessories, curled my hair, and voila! I was all ready to go! If you are curious on how to fold your sheet into a toga, check out this YouTube video. Of course I modified it a little! In the video, he shows 4 different ways. I folded my sheet in half the "hot dog" way. After that, I did exactly what he does except when bringing the piece over my shoulder, I twisted the sheet a lot for a thinner strap. I also used pins to keep mine in place and definitely wore shorts underneath and had a t-shirt tucked away in my handbag just in case there was a slight wardrobe malfunction. Luckily, I stayed nice and snug in my sheet all night long! Have you ever attended a toga party? What is your favorite theme? Since Halloween is coming up next weekend, this would be a quick, easy, and very inexpensive costume idea!
Also, Happy Birthday to the best mother in the entire world!!! I'm headed back to Pittsburgh for the weekend to celebrate her birthday and to see my sister off to her homecoming dance. I am so excited! I have not been home since mid August! Enjoy your day mom, and I will be seeing you shortly! I love you!

Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe

Love your toga! My sisters and I usually go to Hobby Lobby and buy satin fabric instead of using sheets, to add more color and variation.
