LBD- Long black dress that is...

This weekend I am off to Baltimore for another formal and am so excited! I have chosen to wear a floor length black dress that one of my sorority sisters has kindly let me borrow for the event. It is classic and oh so flattering but this is where the choices come in! How should I style it? Should I go the classic route and pile on the pearls just like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys?
Or should I go for the pop of color like Angelina Jolie did and add bright, fun earrings?
Or, I could go the Grecian way like Katie Holmes and opt for dressed up flat sandals that just peep out from under the hem of the dress...
Or I could pull a Jennifer Anniston and wear minimal jewelry and minimal accessories, for a very clean look..
If I don't go with pearls should I do gold or silver jewelry? Diamonds or colored stones? Bold or simple jewelry? The options are endless with plain black dresses, that's the fun part! I would love love love to hear my reader's opinions on how I should accessorize my "LBD"! Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe

I would go with pearls for sure! What girl wouldn't love the change to look like Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany's?

If you want the look to be completely classic, then wear pearls.

If you want to step outside the box a little, then wear bright colored stones!

Have fun!

Any way you cut it...you simply cannot go wrong with a black dress! My vote would be to jazz it up with some bold statement jewelry :)

My favorite spin on the old classic is to wear pink or smokey grey pearls. :)

Being that it is almost summer, I would wear colorful earrings to add a pop of color!

Make sure to post pictures after wards so we can see what you chose!
