All throughout high school and for most of college, I was a big follower of the 'no white before Memorial Day/after Labor Day' rule. Now, I wear white all year round. In fact, I love white pants in the winter! Because who doesn't love to break the rules every once in a while, right?!
I think the trick when wearing white in the colder months is pairing your white piece with something else that is very clearly 'winter' appropriate. For example, in the above photos, I paired my absolute favorite white pants with a heavy wool sweater and suede booties. This really brings the summery feel of the white pants down a notch and creates a soft, neutral winter look!
The sweater is currently on sale and it is super comfortable. It has definitely been perfect for this chilly weather we have had for the past few days! If you don't have a heavy grey sweater in your closet, it is a must. It's a wardrobe staple that can work in so many different ways. You can scroll through the widget above to see more of my favorites!
Don't get me started on these shoes or pants. The pants are my all-time favorite white pants. They are truly the best fitting (I'm wearing a size 4) and have held up so nicely in the past several years. I just featured the shoes last week (here). There are so many different ways you can style them, not to mention the comfort level is out of this world!
Do you wear white year round? What is your favorite way to wear it?

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Summer Wind survey, I would love for you to take the time to fill it out. I've already received a ton of helpful responses (thank you, thank you, thank you!).
