First off, I have to share with you one of my all time favorite songs and musician. La Vie En Rose by Louis Armstrong (also love Edith Piaf's version!)
It's also in Wall-E; as you know I'm obsessed with that movie!
I also have to tell you that I've just finished 2 books. The first one is by Lucy Jackson. I personally did not care for this book at all. It wasn't terrible written, it just wasn't terribly exciting. It didn't have too much of a plot or rising action, however, since it was well written I hung on until the end, waiting for anything to happen, and it didn't. I give this book 0 stars.
I also finished Secret Society Girl by Dian Peterfreund. I loved this book. It is about a secret society called Rose & Grave at an ivy league university. I think I personally liked it one, because it was well written and two, because it is somewhat like a sorority on steroids. It also dabbles with feminism with the argument of women being let into the secret society. I will give it 4 stars!
Tonight I dined at a place about 2 minutes from my house. It's somewhat new (the last 3 years) and I've only been there one other time. Tonight was perfect weather and we were to lucky to have sat on the back patio to enjoy the night. I had Greek Spanikopida with grilled vegetables and balsamic orzo. It was absolutely fantastic. I wore my French Connection dress that I found at Marshall's last week and it was such a comfortable dress to be in. After dinner, we all watched the SYTYCD finale. I am so happy Jeanine won! I also loved that they re-danced the If It Kills Me one with Jason and Jeanine, it is my absolute favorite dance. Also, you must head over to my "real-life" friend, Caroline's blog called Sweet Caroline. She has had her blog for a while and always has such fun posts plus she is a lover of J.Crew and Lilly as well!
Tomorrow is Friday as I'm sure everyone is excited for the weekend! Have a great night.
Yours,
sCe
