I decided to try out the high wasted skirt trend. This little black skirt was purchased for $9.80 at forever 21. It was such a steal, and for that price, I couldn't help to try it out! I paired the skirt with a wool shell from J.Crew, purchased last year and black peep toe heels. Have you tried this trend out? For me, I think it was a really fun outfit, but I will reserve this for nights when I go out and need do look a little more dressed up at school. I don't think I would wear this out to a nice restaurant because it's a little more on the "less conservative" side.I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

I do think your outfit is really cute and when it gets cooler, you could throw on a cardigan. I rarely wear high waist skirts only because they tend to be shorter, and I tend to like my skirts at the knee.
I haven't tried that trend yet, and I probably won't be trying it. I've seen that look cute on others (like you), but I know my body type! Your weekend sounded fun, have a good week at school!

I love high waisted pencil skirts but I haven't found any high waisted flowy skirts like yours! It's really cute! I wish I could find more like them but I hate going into forever 21 because I get so overwhelmed and sort of grossed out! But great job finding that skirt and wearing it cutely! Your hair is GORGEOUS by the way. I'm waiting for mine to grow!
