I hope everyone has as fun of a weekend as I did! Another post on that to come later this week. I wanted to thank everyone who wrote sweet comments and thoughts for my younger cousin's surgery. I am thrilled to report that the surgery went well and she is all better!
If you have been reading the past couple of weeks worth of posts, you'll know that I have been reluctant to give in to fall clothing and put away my summer staples. It is especially hard considering today's high is supposed to be in the lower 80's. Not exactly the scarf and boots weather that October is supposed to bring. However, it is almost hard for me to resist fall clothing when seeing these pieces that I am absolutely lusting over.
I envision this paired over jeans and cords alike. So perfect for an October/November day. It would even be perfect dressed down with a turtleneck, leggings and warm boots.
This is absolutely the most gorgeous fall skirt. Ever. I would definitely pair this with a black turtleneck, opaque tights, and either black pumps, tory burch flats, or black riding boots.
So perfect. Black watch is one of my absolute favorite plaids and Brooks Brothers has really caught my eye with this number.
Another black watch favorite. This would look so pretty with red skinny cords or dark skinny jeans. Love that this is a casual look but the black watch plaid dresses it up a bit!
I LOVE this vest. I would wear it as much as possible. In fact, I just added this to my Christmas list... Yes, I do realize it's early October but why procrastinate, right?!
So versatile. Wear this to work, to class, out at night, out to dinner, etc. The possibilities with this dress are endless.

That J. McLaughlin skirt is definitely one of my must-haves, too. So cute! It is perfect for colder weather, and would be adorable with tights.

Love your picks for fall, especially the skirt. And as for the closet disaster, closets seem SO much bigger & nicer after college- I always wonder how I ever fit my wardrobe in those small flimsy things! :)
