I have been blogging for over three years now and every single year (2009, 2010, 2011) I have stopped my regular posts to pay respect to the day which will live in infamy. To me, it is the most profound historical tragedy of my lifetime and needs to be remembered. In fact, it is so incredible how vivid my memory is for that day. I was only 11, and can barely remember the details of my eleventh year, but vividly remember that day. So today, I salute the brave men and women who have served/ who are serving our country and to all who lost a loved one on September 11, 2001.
Land of the free and home of the brave;
I am so proud to call America my home.
Yours,
sCe

It's surreal actually being in Manhattan on the anniversary of that day. This city will definitely never forget.

to see my favorite blogger writing a post to commemorate 9/11 is so nice! i'm from NYC and my dad was a lieutenant on the FDNY the day of the attack. he was a first responder and was buried under the collapse of the south tower. miraculously, he survived and he is a hero! thank you for this post!!! :)
