Steal vs. Splurge

via
I wear pearl studs ever. single. day. In the past, I have tried to branch out, but I always come running back to the pearls. My daddy even gave me gorgeous diamond studs when I entered my freshman year of highschool (which happen to be my birthstone... how convenient, right ;) but I am embarrassed to admit that I don't really even wear those.
I am once again trying to branch out-- especially when going out at night and dressing up for events and occasions.
I have become enamored with Oscar De La Renta's tassel earrings. They remind me of Audrey's "ear plugs" from Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Enter Lisi Lerch. She offers an affordable alternative to the ODLR pair!

Mod is my favorite style era and I love that the tassel style of earring has shown up in several episodes of Mad Men.

What are your go-to earrings? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,

My go to earrings are definitely my pearl studs! I feel naked without them!

I always wear pearls as well, they just go with everything, I need to branch out in the earring area as well! I love the ones you chose to share on your blog!

I wear my pearls a lot but my husband bought me diamond "huggies" set in platinum for my 40th birthday and I wear those a lot too. They look great with just about anything and I like them better than diamond studs.

I've never even noticed these earrings, but now you have me thinking I need a pair! I'm awful about just wearing my pearl studs every day, too.
