The Dannie Pant

Four things to note about this post: 
1. The shirt I am wearing, I snagged from the KAS New York showroom to style and it is hand beaded! Awesome, right?
 2. These are the new J. Crew Dannie pant (currently 25% off with code SHOPFORFALL) and I am absolutely beyond obsessed. Basically, my take is that it is a hybrid of the pixi and mini. The fabric is like the mini but the fit is more like the pixi. As far as sizing goes, I wear a size 2 in J. Crew and this is the size I purchased in the pants. I'll feature them in some more upcoming outfit posts, but they are great as work pants and would also look great with a cute top and heels for a cute date/nighttime look (like in the above outfit), or an over-sized chunky sweater and flats for the weekend. Currently, they're only available in three colors, but I'm thinking that more colors (and hopefully textures/prints) will be introduced in their next roll out. 
3. I got these shoes to wear to a wedding and they have to be the cheapest (under $50) but most comfortable and decently well made (real suede/ for the price) shoe I have ever purchased. They were out of my comfort zone but I wanted something 'funky' and different and these fit the bill. I also was really looking for a chunky heeled shoe since the wedding was outdoors and I have to walk down the aisle elegantly (hopefully). And the price? I bought them in both colors! I am definitely re-wearing for more casual events and date night outfits. 
4. This ring is one of my New York finds. I was shopping in Kate Spade on Madison and I always find a gorgeous cocktail ring when I am in their flagship. This one screamed 'Gatsby' to me so I just had to have it. I wear a lot of black so this really goes with the bulk of my wardrobe and makes quite the statement! They have a similar style necklace that I am just dying for. It would be such a great alternative to pearls when sporting a LBD.  Have a fabulous day!  Yours,
