#24hrJoy : Head Skis

I can't believe it is ski season once again! If you've been reading Summer Wind for a while, then you already know how big of a ski fan I am. I have been skiing since I could walk. There is nothing I love better than cozying up in a cabin with friends and family, get a fire going, cook a delicious dinner and then head to bed for an awesome day on the slopes. Sometimes, I think I'd rather be on the slopes than a beach... yeah, I love it that much. 

So when Head reached out to me to be a part of their #24hrjoy campaign, I was so excited! They sent me some awesome new gear. The skis are called Total Joy and are specially made for women. They look awesome, but they're also pretty light (which is good, because any guy that I've ever gone skiing with can attest to the fact that I try to get them to carry my skis... hey, they're usually heavy!). I have long been a fan of the Head brand. My parents both have Head skis, so I'm excited to test these babies out all winter long!  The closest mountain to Pittsburgh is called 7 Springs. I used to go every week in Middle School and High school because I was in the ski club... now, I try to go at least a few times a month. It's so much fun to get a big crew together and hit the slopes. Not to mention, who doesn't love the apres ski parties?
