Is this J. McLaughlin skirt not the most fun thing ever?! While it's a total party skirt, I thought I'd style it in a less predictable and more casual way. This is still pretty dressed up, but it's also conservative and warm enough to wear to something like a company Christmas party.
The color is also gorgeous. They're calling it pewter on the website, but I would say it's a neutral purple. It takes on a very grey-like quality and therefore, makes it very easy to wear with a lot of different colors. Not to mention, the price point on this skirt is awesome. There are several other feather skirts out there right now, and a lot of them come with a $400+ price tag... and this one is under $250!
I think this skirt is a great alternative to the ever-so-popular sequins on New Years Eve. It's fun and flirty and definitely gives sequins and sparkle a run for its' money! Have a fabulous day!

For the first time in a long time, I'm not loving this look! I think a different top would make a big difference :)
