So I should probably preface this by saying that I really dislike red. I dislike the color in all forms. The closest to red that I really even like is Nantucket red... and let's be honest...that's more of a pink. I also don't love the color red on myself at all.
In fact, I ordered this dress solely on the fact that I loved the cut of the skirt. I was thinking I would hate it and end up returning it. Ok enough of being a Debbie Downer and a red-hater, because I ended up LOVING this dress. The fit is perfect and the skirt adds a unique detail to a rather plain dress. It's definitely a punchy red, too. Nothing drab about this shade and oh so perfect for the holidays!
I thought I'd share because there are still some sizes left (I'm wearing a size 2) in this dress and today is the last day for standard shipping to get it in time for Christmas (you can order up to the 21st for express shipping). On the affordability scale, I'd say it's relatively inexpensive for a cocktail dress, too! I was going for more of an understated look, but you could totally dress this up even more with a glitzy clutch and interesting shoes...not to mention, I think it'd look great with a statement necklace.
