I love white linen. I think it has to be one of my absolute favorite fabrics and 'colors' during the summer months. It has been unseasonably hot. We're talking 90 degrees for the past week straight. It's honestly somewhat miserable, but I'll take 90 over -18 any day. I am thankful for the sun, though.. we haven't seen that in quite a while and now that it's back, I'm quite appreciative.
With hot temps, comes dinner al fresco. I love nothing more than sitting outside for a meal. We headed to the club for the first patio dinner and were greeted with an absolutely stunning sunset. While it is not yet Memorial Day, I whipped out this gorgeous white linen sundress that Island Company sent me. I used to be a Memorial Day to Labor Day rule follower, but for the past few years, I've thrown the rules out the window. Such a rebel, I know ;). 
I brought a Two Bees cashmere cable knit in my Barrington monogrammed tote (hello, so perfect for 4th of July!!!), but really didn't need it until it got completely dark. The dress itself almost reminds me of a tennis dress. It could definitely be worn casually during the daytime with some Jacks and then dressed up for the evening. 
The patio where we usually eat dinner overlooks the beautifully manicured golf course which makes for a very pleasant dining experience, but this particular sunset was out of this world... perfect for snapping some impromptu outfit photos! Have a fabulous day!
