Throughout the late spring, summer and early fall, I don't wear pants... ever. I try to get as much wear out of skirts and dresses as possible because that is what I prefer and feel best in! Plus, there's plenty of time in the winter when it's so cold, the only possible thing you can wear is pants.
Right now is the time period where I really wear a lot of dresses and skirts before it becomes 'tights weather'. I loathe tights. They're necessary, yes, but if I can get away without wearing them, I will. I have worn so many dresses and skirts for the past several months, someone actually commented to me the other day that they can't imagine me in anything other than a skirt or dress, ha!
This is one of those skirts that is perfect for both work and play. Here I am wearing it for work, but you can easily switch out the top and bag, and you'r ready to go out for cocktails with your girlfriends! As for sizing, I'm wearing a size 2, I'd say it runs pretty true to size, although if you are bigger in the hips, you may want to size up!
This striped shirt is a classic at first glance. Whether you're pairing it with boyfriend jeans and sneakers for a casual weekend grabbing your morning coffee of you are wearing it to the office, it's one of those things that just works no matter your lifestyle. Why I said at first glance? It's actually a tunic and more of a looser fit, when not tucked it. When tucked in, it looks prim and proper, but when worn with leggings or skinny jeans, it looks much more relaxed and laid back. For a more 'business' or 'crisp' look, check out this shirt!
Stuck on what to add overtop should it be a little chilly in the mornings? A classic trench coat should do the trick to keep you nice and warm! Have a fabulous day!
