Oxford Cloth button Down// Suede Skirt (under $100!)
First of all, Happy Halloween! I hope everyone had a fun weekend, I loved seeing all of the creative costumes on Instagram! I went to a Halloween party on Saturday and dressed up with two other friends... we went the lazy route and were 'biker chicks'! Tonight, I have nothing big planned, but will probably head over to my parents to hand out candy with them!
You last saw this suede mini skirt in this post. That outfit was a little on the trendier side for my typically classic style. So today, I'm sharing how I styled this great suede mini (that's under $100) in a classic way with a touch of preppy style!
I actually love this skirt a lot. When I first received it, I wasn't sure I'd get a ton of wear out of it, but it's really a great neutral and has become a closet staple for me. I wear it with everything from t-shirts to sweaters. I paired it with another closet staple: an oxford cloth button down. I have these in every color and have been wearing them since middle school. Whether you are a guy or a girl, age 10 or 70, this shirt is a timeless classic and you can't go wrong! Not to mention, it's so comfortable, too.
I think as it gets colder (we had warm weather this weekend!), I will throw a cashmere cable knit over top! And as the final touch, I wore another favorite (and classic), my Vara flats. It made the look polished and preppy!
