I have all different styles of striped tees, but the ones I seem to wear most often are those with a boatneck and a thicker fabric. This style can be harder to find, but it's out there. I find that because of the thicker material, they wear and wash better which makes them last longer than a typical tee.
These are just a few of the ways I have styled striped tees in the past. The styling ways are endless- whether casual or polished I always think a striped top looks so nice.
Another style tip is to check out the men's section. I do this often to find basics for myself, but I find that men's striped shirts are often easier to come across or the material is often thicker! I also like to buy striped tops in a myriad of sizes. If I buy something in a women's size medium, it tends to fit a little more oversized or even a men's size small or medium has that nice 'boyfriend' look to it.
I actually just got this one in the mail the other day. It was on major sale and I am so pleased. It is that thicker material that I love so much and has a bit of a boxy, casual fit to it. I ordered it in a size medium as it is 100% cotton( so I sized up in case it shrunk a bit in the dryer). However, I think a large would have been good, too, as it would have been the perfect amount of oversized... so basically, this runs small, size up at least one size!
