A really great sale is happening again! My favorite Vitamin C serum is currently 25% off with code OBAGI25. That brings it down to $99. The timing could not have been better, I am just finishing up my current bottle and was due for a new one.
It is pricey, no doubt, but in my opinion, it is worth every cent. It seems like they do this sale two to three times per year so I take advantage when it is on sale and always snag a bottle. Since it's Vitamin C, it doesn't have a super long shelf life (even if it has never been opened) so I don't keep several bottles lying around just because I'd rather just order a 'fresh' bottle when I need it.
If you're new to Vitamin C, you'll want to see my original blog post on this product. Regardless of the brand, for me, Vitamin C serum is where I have noticed the biggest skin benefits when I use it regularly. I use it every single morning.
I use the 20% concentration, but they have lesser concentrations for those trying out vitamin C for the first time or for those who tend to have more sensitive skin.
Someone once DM'd me asking if they thought this site was legit as they had never heard of it. It's definitely a great website and a very reputable brand. I buy skincare from here ALL of the time. The only place I'm iffy about skincare is Amazon. I have not and would not buy this on Amazon.
I've also been asked what other Vitamin C Serums I have tried in the past and I've about tried them all...
- Drunk Elephant (third favorite)
- Skinceuticals (second favorite behind Obagi)
- Bliss
- Dermalogica
- Kiehl's
- Paula's Choice
- Sunday Riley (fourth favorite)
- Tula
- Ole Henriksen (this is the only one I truly did not like. I felt like it did nothing.)
Overall, I have tried some budget/drugstore brand vitamin C serums and while I have never disliked any of them I've tried, in my opinion, I think this is one of those products where the higher price tag likely means that the product will give you better results.
