One thing I loved about Italy on our recent trip was the idea of 'aperitivo' which is basically a pre-dinner cocktail but I noticed our drinks were always served with little bowls of snacks. Things like chips, nuts, prosciutto, etc. They were often served in the prettiest bowls or came out on a little tray. It was always such a nice touch and sometimes we were very hungry so it kept me from becoming hangry before our late dinner reservations, ha!
My husband and I loved it so much we have started to do this at home! Whether we are headed out for the night or just having a night in, our favorite thing is to have a cocktail and a few little snacks that are presented beautifully.

For this particular night, we were staying in so we enjoyed our drink and snacks and then later cooked dinner together! It's a fun little way to make every day more fun and beautiful and the snacks were delicious!

Love these suggestions! Our last date night out we commented on how we loved the bars little snack bowl they present with your cocktails and this just reminded me to start doing a little set up pre-dinner.
