Anyway, I ordered two pairs of the 327 Sneakers to try out because I could not decide between the two. I ultimately ended up keeping the ones with the green 'N' and returning the beige. I think the green look a little dressier... dressier being very relative here. I do think the green limits me a little in what I can wear them with, but I'm not too concerned.
Comfort
A few of you asked me about the comfort of the shoes. I find them to be very comfortable and have no issues with them. They didn't really even require a breaking-in period. They have a lot of support- they're something you could walk 10,000+ steps in easily.
Sizing
This is something you need to pay attention to. They make men's and women's New Balance 327 sneakers, but they also sell the men's version as unisex. The beige pair you see in the photos above is actually a men's pair. The men's was like 7.5, and they converted that to equal a women's size 9. I am a true size 9, and they were too big. So if you are buying a pair that is unisex/men, I'd go down a half size. However, the pair with the green 'N' are specifically women's shoes, so the size 9 was perfect for me. It's kind of annoying that they don't advertise this more, especially on sites like Anthropologie that don't even sell men's items. I didn't pay attention when I was ordering these two pairs, so I just didn't realize until they arrived home!
The photo at the top of this post is how I would style these sneakers outside of athletic clothing. I think simple and neutral is the way to go! I also think fashion sneakers look good with athleisure outfits like you see in the photo directly above.
If these are not your thing, I actually really like these sneakers, too. I don't think I would wear these sneakers with a dress; I think these will mostly just be 'winter' shoes for me!
