Pretty new glasses I got this week! They come in 14 color options!
We made it back from Charleston late last week, so this week has been spent playing catch-up! I worked a bit while in Charleston, so this week's catch-up hasn't been all that bad.
We kicked off Monday of this week with SNOW. I have visited Charleston in March 4 or 5 times, and it's always warm there. Every single time, I go home thinking it will be 'warm' here in Pittsburgh, and it's not. Talk about wishful thinking! But the trip was the warm and sunny dose I needed to get to April. April is still often cold here, but it's usually not bitter. We do get snow in April, though. My mom always talks about how it was snowing when she brought me home from the hospital (my birthday is April 14th). It's not even the cold that I mind; it's the grayness!!
I've spent a lot of work time this week on back-end things. I'm trying to resolve a really frustrating tech issue! I have been trying to do it myself (I try to stay as lean as possible regarding expenses), but I am starting to think I will need to outsource it. We shall see!
I'm also back on my workout schedule, which feels good. I honestly missed it while I was away!
Wearing: I refer to these pants as my Samantha Stevens pants now. The style comes in a bunch of different colors and fabric options. It's a classic cigarette-style pant that I just love! To Start:
Sushi and Sashimi Assortment
Mini lox bagels with capers, red onion, and fresh dill
Tray of Pickled vegetables: pickles, orka, pepper drops, okra, onions
Main Course:
Lobster Roll
Tuna Poké
Side of seaweed salad
Dessert:
Banana Pudding Ice Cream
Warm Chocolate Chip banana bread
Drinks:
Billecart Salmon Brut Rosé
Spicy Cucumber Margaritas
Hendrick’s Dirty Martinis
2018 Marietta Game Trail Cabernet
Eating: With the Masters coming up in early April, I started to think about what would be my champions club dinner if I had won the Masters the previous year (LOL), and this is the menu I came up with. I loved dreaming this up. I LOVE good food, ha!! What would your menu have on it?!
Eating II: I've never had a Chipotle quesadilla before. But they just launched fajita vegetables for the quesadilla, so I had to try it, and I loved it so much! I've long been a Chipotle fan, I usually get their bowls, but now I want to return soon to get another quesadilla!
Watching: Aquamarine is now on Disney+. I don't know if you all loved this movie as much as I did, but I LOVED it. I wanted a blue streak in my hair because of it, ha!! I had to google how old all of the actresses were when this was filmed, and I learned they're all around the same age as I am, which made me feel so old because they look SO young in the movie. It came out 17 years ago...wow. Anyway, worth the watch for the nostalgia alone, but it's such a cute movie to this day.
Loving: Tretorn x J.Crew collab is so good!
Loving: I originally bought Henry these treats from Trader Joe's because I liked that they only had three ingredients: milk, lime, and salt. It's so hard to find packaged dog treats that have 'normal' ingredients. I usually just give him things like blueberries, carrots, etc. These are pricey, in my opinion. I think it's like $6 for this small bag that he will go through in about a week, but he loves them, and I feel good about giving them to him.
Wanting: I love these wide-leg striped pants!
Amazon Rec: These scalloped coupes are back in stock! I have had my eye on them for a while. They are so fun and unique! You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here!
Traveling: We are headed to Cleveland, Ohio, for a Cavaliers game (NBA basketball) later this month. My husband is a big Cavaliers fan. I don't have any travels planned for April, which I'm quite OK with. We are watching my parent's pup, Buddy, for two weeks, though. My parents are going to Athens and Santorini, Greece!
Quoting: 'They muddy the water to make it seem deep.' - Friedrich Nietzsche // See more of my favorites, here.
