Lately

I hope you all have had a wonderful week. I sure have because we have had some absolutely glorious weather. Sun, warmth, and many birds chirping really put me in a wonderful mood. It really feels like spring, and I am thrilled! Next week is my birthday, and on my actual birthday, it is supposed to be in the high 70s/low 80s! I am thrilled because I can wear a nice dress out to dinner without being too cold!

This past weekend, we had a lot going on. I went out with my parents on Thursday, and that turned into an impromptu cocktail hour and then meeting my husband out for dinner in the evening! It was fun, but I was definitely feeling that fun on Friday morning, ha!! Friday, we checked out an Apres ski bar pop-up downtown with friends, and then Saturday evening, we got together with friends for dinner and to watch the final 4 basketball games. Sunday, I allowed myself to be lazy all morning which was amazing, and then I tackled a BIG closet cleanout and organization mission in the afternoon. It feels so good to have everything so organized. I love getting rid of stuff.

This week was very routine, which I am always happy about. I worked, did some workouts, cooked some delicious meals, and I was able to get out and walk Henry. As mundane as it can seem at times, I really love normal everyday life. I don't know if that makes me boring but even if it does, I don't mind!

Are you all doing anything fun for Easter? We always go to my parents, who host our extended family, and it's always a fun time. I think there will be about 15 of us this Easter!

Next week I don't have too much happening other than my birthday on Friday. Honestly, I am not one to really care much about my birthday. It's fun to celebrate anything, in my opinion!
Wearing: Loving this updated cardigan for the spring/summer! I have the one from the fall and wore it so much! I got the navy in a size small, and it is perfect. It's more cropped than the previous design, and it is also not oversized like the previous version; it is more fitted! The fabric is lightweight, which is nice!

Sale: My favorite vitamin C serum that I have been using for many years is currently 25% off with code OBAGI25. I never pay full price, I always wait until this code is active and get it at 25% off.

Watching: We just finished The Night Agent, a drama/action series on Netflix. It was good and kept me engaged, but you have to be willing to endure the weak acting. It sometimes felt like a Lifetime movie, but the storyline was good enough to look past that. We have not watched much lately, but I have Hello Tomorrow and Shrinking on my to-watch list, so maybe we will start that soon.
Loving: I just got these althea pillows from Etsy and love them! They coordinate perfectly with my living room!
Wanting: It is pricey for a shower curtain but I am considering it for our guest bath. I am typically an all-white shower curtain person but this Schumacher print is just stunning!

Pittsburgh: Loved the apres ski pop up bar experience at Butcher in the Rye downtown! We went on Friday with friends and it was delicious and so cute!

Amazon Rec: These sneaker mules are currently in my cart for slipping on and off when running in and out of the house this summer. You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here!
