I shared this on Instagram stories yesterday, but we have been having such beautiful and unseasonably warm weather here in Pittsburgh. I typically put up our tree the weekend after Halloween, though I have put things up sooner when particular content/work requires it. I think I will put up our tree this weekend at some point, but I'm just not in as much of a holiday mood as I was in years past because of the warm weather! It has me seasonally confused!
I know many of you have recently asked for the link to my tree. It's the one I've linked to for many years, and it looks like they finally decided to retire it this year! I will keep an eye on it to see if it comes back in stock because it's a great tree, and the price was right. I'm pretty sure this is the same tree that I have, but this one only comes in a 5-foot height. Mine is from Michael's and is 7.5' (we have 9' ceilings). They have some great trees, and the prices are always affordable.
It's crazy how quickly some of these ornaments sell out, so if you see some you love, I wouldn't hesitate! You all know how much I love the meaning behind ornaments. We collect them over the year on trips, and I order some for certain 'occasions.' I love to write the reason for the ornament on the back of it! It's so much fun to reflect on everything we have collected each year!
Love this little set. They're small but cute and add a nice pop of blue and white to the tree. These are great for tying onto gifts year-round! I replace the navy ribbon they come with because I think it cheapens their look!
The Cabbage ornament is one of my favorites that I snagged on our trip to Savannah a few years ago. I love all things cabbage (which is weird, I know) and couldn't believe there was a cabbage ornament!
These small pinecone ornaments add a nice little pop of color and size variation. They come in a set of 12! A few years ago, we had a fun little date night at our local botanic garden, where they do a beautiful Christmas display, and we snagged the greenhouse ornament there!
I love foam/lightweight ornaments for the bottom of the tree where Henry and other visiting dogs and children tend to pass by. That way, if they fall off the tree, there won't be any broken glass! Good ornaments stay up high! These are nice, too, because they reflect light well and add depth!
These are felt ornaments that come in a set of 3. They are perfect for tying onto gifts because you don't have to worry about anything breaking. They are very unique and special! Use code SYDNEY20 for 20% off.
I gave my husband this cute little groom ornament the year we got married! You can find pretty much any ornament these days for any occasion.
Gold pops so beautifully against green and pairs well with burgundy, making it the perfect holiday metallic. This bell wreath is pretty substantial in size.
Target has some real gems, and it just shows that you don't need to spend a fortune on fun ornaments!
Love these frame ornaments with the year. I have one from 2019 for a new home and 2021 for our wedding. These are nice to tie onto gifts, too!
I love the size of this ginger jar. My sister gave this one to me. It's a lot larger than the little porcelain Amazon set!
Lastly, I wanted to share this one, which is so fun and a DIY. My girlfriend made this for me. You cut strips of a wedding invitation, curl them, and add them to a clear glass ornament. It makes for such a special keepsake and really looks beautiful. She even tied it with some ribbon from our wedding programs. There is a hinged ornament out right now that would be perfect for this type of DIY!
