Only a little over a week of March left! I can't believe Easter is next weekend!
My mom and I just returned from a fun little getaway to The Greenbrier, West Virginia. It's a pretty painless drive from Pittsburgh, which is nice! We had such a fun time together.
I got back to Pittsburgh and had to get Henry into an emergency vet appointment after he had nausea for over 24 hours. He likes to eat anything and everything outside, so we are very good about paying attention to him on walks. I often have to pull things out of his mouth. It's like a reflex I have now; I can quickly grab something. So, I'm guessing he possibly got a hold of something we missed, potentially causing the nausea. I'm not honestly sure. Our vet is amazing. They were able to get him in first thing in the morning and gave him an anti-nausea shot and medication for acid reflux to help settle his stomach. The night before, I even texted them a video, saving me a trip to the emergency vet. They let me know his behavior was something that could wait until the morning, and their expertise somewhat eased my mind. I'm keeping a close watch on him. The shot seemed to help a lot, but he seemed a bit nauseous again last night. I'm trying to calm myself down about this. I get *so* freaked out any time anything is even remotely wrong with Henry. It gives me so much anxiety. If he is not better by tomorrow, I am supposed to call the vet again to bring him in. I'm praying he is OK throughout today.
I had a call about my launch with Beth Ladd Collections! The official launch date will be April 2nd, so mark your calendars! I am so excited!
Otherwise, I've been playing catch-up and spending as much time with Henry as possible. Tomorrow, we have tickets to a show and dinner reservations, I'm hoping we won't have to cancel due to Henry, but we definitely will if needed. Saturday and Sunday, I plan to work as much as I can!
Drinking: The Naked Wines promo is back where you can get 6 bottles of wine for $39.99. I think it's for new customers only. To get the promo, you have to use this link! Speaking of wine, I had Frei Brothers cabernet earlier this week at Prime 44 West at the Greenbrier and loved it! I looked it up, and it's around the same price as Unshackled, which is another $25ish cabernet that I enjoy. I want to do a blind taste between the two because I think I may prefer the Frei Brothers over the Unshackled, but I just can't be sure until I do a side-by-side blind taste!
Reading: I just pre-ordered this coffee table book. It's part of a series, and I already have the first two and absolutely love them. The pages are filled with pure eye candy.
Sale: I got this gift set in a PR package from Dermstore. You can get all of this, including the cute pouch, for under $130 with my code SUMMERWIND. It's $600+ worth of product. I honestly can't believe the price. This is plenty to last for months, and it's the price of one product, basically. Crazy. I also love that there are a few smaller-sized products, as I will use those for travel! My mom tried the Babor ampoules, and already wants to buy more. My husband and I are already loving the Holifrog product- this is my first from this brand- it is so hydrating! The Beauty Stat vitamin C serum is one I have used before and enjoyed. It's full-sized, and if you were to purchase it on its own, it's $85.
Watching: I haven't started Palm Royale yet, but it's on my list—it just came out yesterday! Will you all be watching? Even if it's not good, I think I'll love it for its 1960s style and decor.
Loving: I just got these orange sandals, and I absolutely love them. I had been looking for a 'fun' pair of sandals, and these certainly fit the bill. What really sold me is that they're not only adorable but SO comfortable. They come in many colors, including some neutrals and metallics!
Loving II: I am so excited to see all of the new Aerin products for WS!!! The new pieces are just gorgeous!
Wanting: This is the cutest little kitchen towel set for under $10- an adorable Easter hostess gift! Love this lace caftan as an elegant swimsuit coverup.
Amazon Rec: 'Tis the season for me to order more of these bra tank workout tops. I love them and wear them both to Orange Theory and to walk Henry in the warmer weather. You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!
Traveling: Just got back from the Greenbrier, next up Mexico! I have never been except for a snorkeling excursion on a cruise many years ago! It's for a family friend's wedding. A big group of family and friends are all going to this wedding so it will be so much fun!
