There have been many amazing brand collaborations throughout my 15 years of blogging. However, this one, without hesitation, takes the cake for being the most epic. Tuckernuck, one of my all-time favorite brands, is partnering with the iconic Murray's Toggery Shop! Not only are the pieces in the collection perfect in every way, but the partnership of the two brands is truly a perfect match. The collection launches TODAY!
In case you are unfamiliar, Murray's is an amazing, family-owned boutique located on Nantucket. It is one of the longest-running shops on Nantucket and is home to, of course, the famous Nantucket Reds. I can't imagine visiting Nantucket and not stopping into Murray's. If you've never been to Nantucket, one of the most charming parts of the island is town and, specifically, Main Street. It has all of the charm and character imaginable, and that's exactly where Murray's sits- right on Main Street. What I appreciate most about Murray's is that even as styles change and trends come and go, Murray's has always stayed true to itself. You can always count on walking into the shop and finding classic and/or preppy pieces for everyone.
Tuckernuck is a small island off the western shore of Nantucket. I've never been, but my husband loves to reminisce about how he and his friends would take a friend's boat out when he had a day off from the Juice Bar (he worked there summers in college) and sail over to Tuckernuck. That's where Tuckernuck, the brand, gets its name from! I'd love to visit the island one day. I believe there is no running water or electricity- it's truly off the beaten path!
So, the two brands together just make sense, and I am fully eating it up! I love that this collection incorporates Murray's iconic Nantucket Red into classic styles we know and love from Tuckernuck and even a few more fashion-forward pieces.
This is the kind of thing I wouldn't have believed when I started blogging 15 years ago—a Tuckernuck x Murray's collab, and they sent me a piece from the collection!?! I've been a fan of Murray's for ages, and I've loved Tuckernuck since its UScoop days (anyone else remember that?!). It's one of those little moments I do not take for granted, and I am so thankful.
Tuckernuck sent me this dress to style and share with you all. The quality is superb, and it's the true Nantucket Reds fabric we all know and love. It runs generously. I am wearing a size small, and it fits roomy. I might have been able to size down to an XS. The length is not a concern; it is the perfect length for me at 5'6", so don't size up for length; if anything, size down. I selected this dress because I know I will wear it now and well into fall! There are quite a few pieces in this collection that you could wear year-round!
