Lately

I've spent this week getting back into a nice routine since I was away on vacation in Georgia with family and family friends! It was a great time, but I love being back in my own bed! We've been enjoying so many Georgia peaches this week since I brought home so many!

The weather here has been so nice that I've prioritized being outside as much as possible. The summer has been incredibly hot, especially for Pittsburgh standards, and I cannot tell you how happy I am that we are finally experiencing milder temperatures.

This weekend we are going to try and lay low and just enjoy being home. I hope we can cook some delicious dinners, get some chores done, and relax.

This week I enjoyed filming something for a favorite brand of mine that I have been using for years... any guesses?! I know many of you use this brand, too!

Wearing: I've been wearing this Shirt nonstop. I love the oversized fit because it is so comfortable- like a tee shirt! It looks polished, though. I look forward to wearing it with dark-wash jeans and cute trousers this fall!

Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK! You can also find me on ShopMy, another shopping platform!

Eating: This was seriously the BEST flank steak marinade ever. The only change to this marinade is that my husband added juice of one lime. We let it marinate for about 20ish hours. It was so flavorful. I love flank steak, but we rarely make it because I always forget about it when I do the grocery shopping. We had leftover steak, so the next day, we made steak quesadillas with peppers and onions, and the steak was perfection in a quesadilla!

Sale: The Dermstore sale ends soon! You can see my favorites here, and use code SUMMERWIND to get the best discount!

Watching:
I truly cannot wait for January 17th because Severance is coming back for season 2, which has 10 episodes. My husband and I loved the first season so much that we watched it twice. I loathe when Netflix releases one episode per week as this is such a bingeable show, so I might have to wait a few weeks to start it so I can watch a few in succession! Another show I enjoyed, Silo, is coming back in November, which is exciting! I haven't been watching much TV at all in the past few weeks/months, and I am craving a really good, bingeable show!
Loving: Lake sent me this newer style set. It comes in a set of three, so you can wear it year-round. The fabric is 100% cotton, but it has a pretty textured design. I love the fit. It's oversized in a drapey, elegant way. It feels so perfect for lounging, and because it is solid, I feel OK walking Henry in the early mornings!

Wanting: This $34 dress
is darling! Running to add this cashmere cable knit sweater to my cart. I love the color and the fit *finally* isn't cropped. YAY! Also love this cardigan. It's so elegant and classic and gives me Celine vibes. Just ordered these silver flats! Excited to see metallics will still be big this year! Love to see so many denim options arriving for fall that don't have distressing and are darker in wash. I am eyeing this pair.

Pittsburgh: Little Italy Days this weekend. I love this Pittsburgh tradition. We may check it out!

Amazon Rec: I shared my August Amazon finds yesterday, which you can see here!

You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!

Smelling: I love this candle for fall and was able to snag one in Georgia on sale at a little boutique! Its' the perfect mix of cozy and fragrant!

Traveling: I'm so excited that we are going to Charleston in a few weeks with my husband, sister, brother-in-law, and parents to celebrate my parent's 40th wedding anniversary! 40 years!!! Callie and I were going to throw my parents a surprise party, but we ended up mulling it over, and knowing them, they'd prefer a getaway. There is nothing they love more than when the six of us are together, and Charleston is their favorite place, so we have planned a long weekend and I am so looking forward to it. We were just in Charleston in February, but if you have any can't-miss recs that are new within the last 6 months, please let me know! I cannot wait to visit the newly opened Julia Amory shop on King Street!
