I had no plans this past weekend; it was the first weekend I had downtime in a long time. It was GLORIOUS. It gave me so much time to catch up on things that needed to be done around the house. I went to bed early and slept in. I turned on the TV! I was able to clean, organize, and do chores and tasks that I've had to put off. I've loved being so busy with a full social calendar, travels, and more, but I'm thrilled to have a few weeks at home without anything 'big' socially on the calendar. It's also my busy work season, so catching up over the weekends is nice.
Anyway, I got caught up on emails and outfit photos to share with you all... most from my trip to Charleston!

Anyway this Mille dress that the brand sent to me is a showstopper. I thought it was cute online, but it far exceeded my expectations once I saw it in person and put it on. It's so elegant. I feel so good in it. It just feels like 'me'. The fabric is 100% cotton but it's sateen-like because it has a pretty, very subtle sheen. It runs big so size down! I got an XS and it fits perfectly.
These Gold Earrings are SO good. Another 'exceeded my expecations'. They're lightweight and add the perfect amount of shine to any outfit. They're a subtle statement.
After being out of stock for quite a while, this Green Cashmere Wrap is back! I was hestiant about this wrap because of its unique color. I think it's the most beautiful color but I didn't think I had much in my closet to pair with it. Well, I've worn it much more than I thought I would!
I wore this outfit the other night to attend an event benefitting the Pittsburgh Parks. It was 'glow' themed and the invite said to dress in 'colorful cocktail'. The event was so much fun and this pink dress was absolutely perfect for the occasion. I love this dress and use any excuse to wear it. It runs true to size, I got a small. I love when there is a theme at an event and everyone follows it- it makes things so much fun. Everyone at the event was in sparkles and vibrant colors!
I love this Nantucket Reds dress! It's the perfect weight for fall. It feels almost like a cotton canvas, and it's so comfortable to wear. I am wearing a size small but would suggest sizing down (I wish I had). It runs big! The sneakers are a favorite of mine. They differ from something like my Tretorns and the Rothy's as these are leather. They are easy to wipe clean and very comfortable. My favorite part about them and what keeps me reaching for them over my other white sneakers is that I find that the way they are cut around the ankle is the most flattering to my legs. It's a slightly more feminine, less athletic look, which is perfect for wearing with things like this dress! This Mini Monogrammed Tote is a new favorite. You better believe it will be on my gift guide. The price is right, the quality is great, and you can fill it with different 'themes' when you give it as a gift!
This is not a recent outfit, but I was glad to try these JA pants in the Charleston store! I had been eyeing them but was unsure about the sizing. The fit was a little off for me, but not enough to deter me from wanting them! I tried these green pants on for size. This is a size medium, and they were a little bit in the waist but fit elsewhere! They are meant to fit roomy and have a bit of stretch. Anyway, the brown I wanted was sold out, which is unfortunate, but I'm watching for a print and colorway I love to come out, and I will snag a pair! They are very cute!
This is the perfect fall dress because of the length and long sleeves. It's something I will be able to wear in Pittsburhg for a while still. A hot tip is that with a long, flowy dress like this, you can wear legggings underneath. As long as they're slightly cropped, no one will know and you can wear a dress outdoors without freezing in the later fall!

You all have already seen this swing dress, but here it is styled without the coat. It was far too hot for that in Charleston and still too warm in Pittsburgh for that. Though, I suspect I'll need that coat sooner than later here!
