Happy almost weekend, friends! It's a good week around here as I prepare to head into my birthday weekend! My birthday is on Monday, so my husband and I are taking a long weekend trip to celebrate!
I look forward to exploring a new town, eating, drinking, and relaxing! Unfortunately, it will be chilly and rainy, so I've been stumped about what to pack, but I'm working on it!
I got my hair highlighted last week, my nails done this week, and a spray tan today, so I feel fresh. That is exactly what I want to feel on my birthday!
We had fun and relaxed last weekend. We had dinner and the symphony on Friday night. It was an 80s-themed performance; entertaining but not my favorite. Maybe unsurprisingly, songs like Journey's Don't Stop Believing don't sound great when played by a symphony. Our symphony is so talented, and this was not the type of performance where they got to show off their skills. But we had a great time regardless! Then, on Saturday, we had the most directionless, lazy day. I did a few loads of laundry, cleaned a bit, and made a yummy dinner, but it was a lazy rainy day, and I soaked up every second of it. We capped it off with a lovely Sunday dinner at our friend's house! My girlfriend made the most delicious pork chops and creamed spinach. I am not a big pork chop gal, but they were terrific. I will have to get the recipe!
I'm excited to get away this weekend. I've been in a creative rut the last week or two, and traveling always revives my creativity, so I'm really hoping that's the case!
Green Dress (use code SYDNEY15)// Gold Flats (use code FVSYDNEY150
Wearing: I have this dress in black and wear it so often. The green that just came out is simply stunning. It's dressier than the black version since this is like a taffeta. It would be a great cocktail dress or wedding guest dress!

Watching: Did you all watch the season finale of White Lotus? I thought it was a good ending, and I usually don't think season finales nail it, but this one did!
Wanting: The cutest taper candles for an Easter tablescape! This swimsuit is gorgeous. The print on this dress is fabulous. These glasses are a good look for less! These slingbacks are a good Manolo Maysale look for less! This sleeveless boucle top is beautiful and a classic wardrobe staple. This under $175 coverup looks designer and like you paid a lot more! A dainty diamond bracelet under $150. A timeless bucket bag. The perfect summer gauzy pants that give Nancy Meyers vibes. In honor of Masters Week, these cocktail napkins are darling. The most incredible applique skirt. Love this red striped dress and this red dress- both casual and cute for daily wear! This leather bag is gorgeous. A perfect little white dress for a bride! Why do I love this tomato sweater?! Yes, yes, yes to the embroidery on this dress! I do not need another sweatshirt but I keep coming back to this one! The perfect 'easy' summer sundress. This spring jacket is gorgeous! This striped sweater is a timeless year-round staple!
Eating: We recently made two viral recipes and enjoyed both! The first photo is the beef and cottage cheese bowl. It's an odd blending of textures and flavors, but it works and is delicious. It's a unique alternative to tacos; you get a similar taste. The second photo is of marinated hard-boiled eggs. We put them on top of some veggies and rice! They were also delicious. I love hard-boiled eggs and mainly just eat them with pepper and sriracha. This was a fun way to switch things up.
Drinking: I liked the Avaline rosé when I tried it a few weeks ago, so I got curious and wanted to try some of the other wines. I am most excited to try the Lambrusco as maybe that will be my summer wine if I like it. I'm not a big white/rosé gal, and a cab feels way too warm and heavy in the summer! I will report back on these as I try them! The price per bottle is low, so I hope I enjoy them!
Sale: Tomorrow is the last day for the Shopbop sale, and you can see my top picks here. Monday is the last day for the Sephora sale; you can see my top picks here.

Loving: 'Peptide' is the latest skincare buzzword, but regardless, I cannot get enough of this lip balm. It is so incredibly hydrating and looks like a gloss. It is one of the best I have ever used. My code SUMMERWIND works on this!
Loving II: Have you guys seen that Target is launching a collab with Kate Spade on Saturday?! There are some cute things in true Target fashion, and the prices are great. Though, these $10 garbage bags had me kind of scratching my head!
Loving III: I just got these, and they are so much better than I expected. Beautiful, and the quality is great! I'll report back on comfort once I wear them!

Pittsburgh: Dari Delite, the best soft serve in Pittsburgh, is open for the season. The monkey in the middle is my go-to order, and it's incredible.
Amazon Rec: My husband ordered two of the most classic pairs of tennis shoes, and the total at checkout was $110- a steal! He got these in navy and these in white!
You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!
Smelling: I cannot get enough of this grapefruit scent in my Pura. It smells so light, fresh, and clean for spring.
Traveling: I hope to plan more of our Portugal trip in the next week or two! I am so excited that we got the ball rolling, but we still have more planning to hammer out the details! My husband is really great at creating itineraries. He makes them for every trip, whether two days or 10+ days. I am usually the type A person, but he totally carries the team when we travel.
