One White Dress, Styled Four Ways

There’s something undeniably timeless about a white dress in the spring and summertime. Over the years, fashion rules have been put in place for wearing white. Some people wear white after Easter, some after Memorial Day. Do you stick to any of those rules? I don't adhere to any fashion rules when it comes to white. I love white pants, in particular, year-round. However, I tend to reach for my white dresses around the end of April or as we get into May. The same goes for linen and wicker handbags. Whether you're heading to brunch, a party, or simply strolling around on the weekends, a white dress always feels fresh, feminine, and effortlessly put-together. I love how easily it can be dressed up with espadrilles and statement earrings or kept casual with sandals and a straw tote. It’s a blank canvas, inviting endless styling possibilities. Pair it with a cardigan on cooler mornings or a raffia clutch for al fresco vacation dinners. When the temperatures rise, a crisp white dress is a perennial go-to that never goes out of style.

I have collected many over the years, but a White Dress, like a white tee, needs to be replaced every few years, as it can become stained. This White Dress is a new arrival, and I love it. You will need a slip, as it is a bit sheer. This is the under $20 slip I have and love! But regardless, this post is meant to inspire, as I know many of you likely already have a great white dress in your closet!
