Grammie turns 99!

Is everyone excited for a long holiday weekend?! I cannot believe we have arrived at the unofficial start of summer. 2025 is flying by! It's unfortunately going to be chilly all weekend- I swear we have sketchy weather every MDW! So I don't know if we will get much pool time, if any. Though I am glad about all of the rain we have been getting lately. My plants are absolutely thriving. The last few summers have been so swelteringly hot and dry that my plants were miserable all summer. It's so lovely to look out the window at such a verdant view, and it makes me feel like I am actually an accomplished gardener, ha!!!

We have big plans to clean out our garage, which doesn't sound fun, but we are going to make it fun! We will make cocktails, jam out to music, and get it done. This has been a long time coming, and I don't know how we have accumulated so much stuff, but we are PURGING! I am honestly a bit excited, haha! We are also checking out a new restaurant that has been on my list to try for a while, and getting together with friends for a BBQ! I am also excited to sleep in and go on many walks.

This past weekend, I got together with girlfriends, went to a family friend's baby shower, and celebrated my grammie's 99th birthday! It was so full and fun and one of those weekends that remind you how sweet life is! I also enjoyed playing hooky yesterday morning and getting together with girlfriends for coffee. We don't do that often enough!

Wearing: This week I've been casual and probably will be all weekend, except for our date night. As much as I love to dress up, I've done a lot of it lately, so it's nice to switch it up and wear comfy clothes!

Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK! You can also find me on ShopMy, another shopping platform!

Eating: My husband loves this stackable food storage container, perfect for storing dough in the refrigerator. It would make a great under $50 gift idea!

Drinking: Had a glass of rosé with my mom the other night. This is the best rosé... which you may want to take with a grain of salt because I am not a rosé drinker, but this is so light! When I post about this, people ask where you can get it in Pittsburgh. I haven't found it here yet. If you order 6 bottles on their site, you get free shipping, and I always search for an influencer code. I think SPRING15 works! I really love their Lambrusco, too.

Mirror on sale!
Sale: 'Tis the season for LOTS of sales. Truly, so many! I will be back tomorrow with my top picks but for today, I'll share just a handful!

J. McLaughlin// Amazing sale section for both men and women! I got my husband these gorgeous suede shoes under $150.

Dermstore// Up to 20% off with code SUMMERWIND. It's probably no surprise this is my #1 rec

Vineyard Vines// 25% off everything with code VVFAM

S+L// Lots of items 20-30%ish off!

J. Crew// up to 50% off 1000s of styles! This dress is on sale under $150. I have it in black and it is SO chic and elegant.

Adidas// Up to 30% off! My picks here!

Sue Sartor// 30% off with code MDW30. I have and love this dressbut love this one, too!

Talbots// 30% off entire purchase, including markdowns.  Love this sweater- how fun for 4th of July, and this striped dress

Frank and Eileen// Lots of markdowns but they are all final sale so make sure you grab the right size!

Everlane// 25% off sitewide. This shirt is currently in my cart.

Watching:
Have you all watched anything good lately?! We have been watching nada! I would love some recs- even movies!

Listening: This is SO random, but I've recently been listening to the 'Watercolors' channel on Sirius in the car. It's basically elevator jazz, but it's so nice to have on in the background when I'm just going on a quick trip to the grocery.
Loving: I received a fun package from Rifle this weekend, and it was their 2026 calendar. I can't believe it is that time of year already. This is technically a wall calendar, but I have used this exact calendar as a desk blotter for nearly 10 years. It's the BEST because you can see the whole month at a glance, and each day has a block large enough for writing multiple things. Plus, the notes section to the right is so useful. I also love that, at the top, to the left and right of the date, is the perfect size for a sticky note, so you can add in more notes if needed. It's just the perfect paper calendar for m,e and I could not recommend it more! I also love the designs. This year, September is my favorite!

Wanting: Lake just launched new men's styles - perfect timing for Father's Day! I'm not a big shorts gal but my goodness, these are gorgeous! Love this skirt so much- happy to see it on sale! I'm ordering these adorable stickers to spice up my calendar- only $6 on sale! These heels! The most perfect dress for 4th of July! This dress is SO perfect for a summer wedding guest! Need this lobster tank!!! My favorite sweatshirt is on sale for under $50! Love this dress- perfect for a vacation! Simple bangles to have on hand to pair with so many outfits! The simple but elegant cut of this dress is lovely. This timeless sweater tank is in my cart! I've been eyeing these flats, which are on sale- they come in many colors!

My Sandals// Similar Sandals
Amazon Rec: The similar sandals I am linking to look nearly identical to the designer sandals I am wearing in the photos above! Such a good find!

You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!

Smelling: I recently received a PR package from Salt and Stone. I'm very familiar with this brand, as I have enjoyed using their body wash and deodorants in years past. Their scents are all top-notch. In the package, I received body mist, which I didn't even know they made, and oh my goodness, it's incredible!!! I asked them for a discount code, and they obliged! My code is SYDNEY15.

Traveling: We finally booked our hotels for Portugal, so I'm ready for some restaurant/shopping/etc. recommendations if you have them! We are spending part of our trip in Lisbon and another part in Cascais, and may take a day trip or two elsewhere!

Quoting: 'A man asked a gardener why his plants grew so beautifully. The gardener said: “I don't force them to grow. I remove what stops them.' // See more of my favorites, here.

Hi Sydney, if your readers live in states where you can buy wine in grocery stores (which I know is still not consistently the case in PA), Whole Foods carries Avaline wines here in SC.
