My Most Worn Summer Staple

I was just reaching for this top the other day and I realized I haven't highlighted it! Clearly, I've been remiss in my fashion blogger duties with this one because this is one of the tops that I reach for most in the warmer months. I also have it in white, but wear this blue striped version most often. This striped top and white bottoms combo is a summer uniform for me!

The top is made from a very smooth fabric that feels like cotton poplin but it's sleeker- almost sweat-wicking. It's resistant to wrinkles and the slightly cropped, boxy cut works with shorts, skirts, jeans, etc. It runs a little big so you could size down but I'm wearing my true size small here.

In the summer heat, I am always looking for whatever is easiest but looks put together while still staying cool and this checks all of those boxes.

I've had this top for probably 5 or 6 years now and it's the same cooling fabric but in a different cut. This is more of a tunic top and this runs very large. You could definitely size down in this, but I love how oversized it is. I can even wear it as a swimsuit coverup because of its longer length and roomier cut. The collar actually stays up when I wear it which I really appreciate. It's another top I often pair with white bottoms. The fit of this top feels very 'character in a Nancy Meyer's movie'- effortless and timeless.
