Happy long holiday weekend! I hope you all have something fun planned at some point! I am so excited for my sister and brother-in-law to be in town. They are not usually here around this time of year, so it will be special!
I have a busy work week next week due to Amazon Prime Day and the launch of the Nordstrom Sale, so I am going to take full advantage of fun and relaxation this weekend and cut out a bit early this afternoon.
This week, a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have been so anxious about Henry while we are away later this summer, and I finally figured it all out and set it all up. Phew. I won't fully exhale until I am back, but it was one of those things constantly weighing on me.
On a somewhat random note, I've recommended the Hollister seamless thong underwear a bunch of times over the years. It has been my favorite. It's funny because it's the only thing I've purchased from Hollister since about 2007. Somehow, they had the highest quality underwear at the lowest price. Before that, I had worn Victoria's Secret, Aerie, and Target. I like the seamless nude thongs. I finally ended up with Hollister since the quality of all the other brands I mentioned degraded over time. But, of course, Hollister no longer sells them! Isn't that how it always goes when you find something good?! Now I am back on the drawing board, but I want to take advantage of Amazon Prime Day or Nordstrom Anniversary sales if possible. Soooo, all of that to say, if you have a good seamless thong rec, let me know!
Wearing: Isn't this Martini Claw Clip ridiculous but also so fun?! They have many different themes and shapes. It'd be so fun for favors at a bachelorette!
Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK! You can also find me on ShopMy, another shopping platform!
Watching: I watched the latest installment of Squid Game, and I didn't like it. It was so gory- they all are, but it was constant, and I could not get into it all. I also randomly started watching a documentary about influencer children on Freeform called 'Born To Be Viral', which follows families over 6 years. I find it so fascinating. I have soooooo many thoughts on this documentary!
Wanting: A simple and classic summer dress. A cute raffia bag under $100. This is another good, easy, breezy throw-on dress! This skirt is perfect, and I love how they have it's styled! Have any of you heard of this brand, Yedwo? I stumbled upon this flatware and I absolutely love it. The new Lake arrivals are summertime perfection. I have always admired this brand- they have so many gorgeous pieces right now. This shirt is giving Doen for $35! I love these nautical plates. A very chic bag. Another good Loeffler look for less, but these are real leather! If you are traveling this summer and visting any churches, this wrap is super lightweight and beuautiful and you can just tuck it right into your bag when you need it! I also think that an outfit sometimes needs a little something 'extra' and this scarf would be a great thing to add without adding too much warmth. Classic Ugg slippers on sale! The prettiest splatterware mugs in a few different colors. A lovely summer skirt. Just got this adorable little tote handbag and it's the perfect dressy casual summer bag. Hello perfect denim dress. Are peplums back?! I LOVE this one! Denim shorts that actually look comfortable. Just ordered this simple tee. Very into this bracelet- I haven't seen a ton of fine jewelry that I've been into lately but this is lovely.
Eating: My new favorite thing is the kebabs from the Whole Foods Butcher counter. I got the Kentucky Bourbon, but they have a teriyaki and plain version, too. They also have chicken, which I want to try next. It makes for the easiest and most delicious summer dinner.
Drinking: I'm not into supplemental electrolytes, but I see them advertised everywhere, from packets to bottles, and even expensive water. I drink water, eat a decently balanced diet, and hope for the best. However, I know there are occasional days when I sweat a ton or am not feeling well, and I could use a little boost. I don't like the taste of Gatorades or anything like that. My husband is into trying different sports-type drinks, so we have tried many powdered electrolytes. I disliked all of them, but the brand Waterboy. Specifically, the blue raspberry flavor. It's not something I would drink for enjoyment, but it's totally tolerable! So if you're like me and don't like that kind of thing but want to have a few packets on hand for here and there, I recommend these!
Drinking II: I love pepperoncini, and these 365 Whole Foods brand are the absolute best. They are so flavorful and crisp and stay crisp until the last one! I love using the brine for a martini- it has the salty flavor you get with olive brine, a slight pickled flavor, and light heat! Yum!
Sale: Tomorrow will be the regular weekend wish list and a big sale roundup! There are so many sales and I've curated the best of them.
I'm excited about these flats that I was able to snag at 50% off!
Extra 70% off sale styles at J.Crew and up to 40% off cashmere.
Looking ahead to the Nordstrom sale (next week), I think this rain jacket is beautiful and a great price.
The bra I have been weairng nonstop on sale.
I just got this dress (on sale) and the product photos don't do it justice. The embroidery is stunning and the chambray is beautiful. It's so much better in person.
My husband just got these shorts in blue (color sold out, but they com in other colors) and they are so nice. I cannot believe they're marked down to $30. If a guy in your life needs shorts, definitely check these out.

Listening: In case you missed, it my running playlist!
Loving: Aren't these earrings so pretty? They're by a new-to-me brand that sent them and I was not expecting them to be as high quality and pretty as they are! You can switch up the look by wearing the huggie hoops alone either on the pavé side or on the plain gold side. You can also remove the mariner link and wear as a charm on a necklace or bracelet!

Pittsburgh: There are no words to express how amazing Family Deli is! I had never heard of it until recently, when my husband told me about it. It's in Bethel Park, and as a born and raised South Hills gal, I truly don't know how I didn't know about this place! It's truly a charming, quaint local deli, but you can also get sandwiches and baked goods on top of the typical deli meats, salads, etc. The sandwiches are enough to feed a family of four. It's crazy how large they are; they have so many different options. They also have specials. Not only was the sandwich one of the best I've ever had, but it also had delicious sweet treats. I will be back, that's for sure.
Amazon Rec: These hooks are such a discreet and sleek design!

Candle (on sale)
Smelling: This is such a wonderful summer scent. It's earthy, but the sweet basil shines through, crisp and fresh. It's the perfect kitchen scent because it's not overwhelming.
Traveling: I'm planning a 2-3 night mother-daughter trip in November, and I'm wondering if you all have any recs on where to go/stay that keeps us in the eastern time zone (so it's quick/easy to get to). I am leaning toward NYC, so we shall see! I'm trying hard to better plan trips further ahead because when I think about them at the last minute, they are much more expensive or fully booked!
