Sweet Buddy (my parents' dog)
Loving this bag! It's giving Prada's Arque bag for a fraction of the cost, and even better because there are no logos!
Splendid gave me a discount code that is good until Wednesday, 7/30. It's SYDNEY20 for 20% off, and it works on sale items! This eyelet dress I wore to dinner last week is on sale!
Hope you are all having a great week! I'm in crunch mode as I've started to create content ahead of time for my upcoming trips. It's always a lot of work upfront to be able to somewhat unplug on vacations, but I never regret it! We are going to the lake soon and then off to Portugal, so I have a lot of content to put together!
This weekend was low-key, and I worked a lot of it, but I didn't mind. When I have time, I actually find working on the weekend enjoyable because I don't have to deal with a weekday email inbox. We babysat my 'brother' (as my husband calls him, haha), Buddy, my parents' pup. He is the sweetest and has an endless amount of energy!
This weekend, we have fun plans to attend a concert, and tonight we are grabbing a happy hour cocktail!
I can hardly believe it, but next week marks our 4th wedding anniversary. It has truly been the most wonderful 4 years. We're celebrating low-key and going out for dinner. It feels like we got married just yesterday! I was thinking about it the other day, and it wasn't until the last year or so that I got used to saying 'husband. ' It really felt novel for over three years and still does from time to time! I also sometimes think about how we were supposed to have been married for over 5 years at this point. That all feels like a fever dream now!
We lucked out with the MOST beautiful day on Monday. I took Henry on a walk around 8am, and it was 68 degrees. I was so giddy that I'm surprised I didn't skip the entire walk. Then, on Tuesday, I met my mom for an outdoor lunch, as the weather was beautiful once again. Of course, that was short-lived, and we are now back in the 90s. It's been sweltering all summer long here in Pittsburgh. June was the hottest on record since 1943 and the highest dewpoint average in 20 years. Apparently, July is shaping up to break records, too. Woof. This is sooooooo not my jam. And the storms?! We had to have our roof repaired after one of the storms ripped off shingles from our roof. We only realized it because we had a small leak! It's all fixed now, which is great, but it's been quite an interesting season!
Lightweight Pullover// Skort use code SYDNEY20
Wearing: My husband wore this Textured Camp Shirt the other night to a casual dinner, and I thought he looked so handsome! It's on major sale under $30! Rhone sent me a few pieces in their new green smoke color, which is gorgeous! I fell in love with this Pullover because it's truly the lightest weight pullover I've ever worn! My code is SYDNEY20 for 20% off.

Watching: I watched the Netflix documentary "Amy Bradley is Missing," which tells the story of a 23-year-old woman who goes missing from a cruise ship. It's a frightening story, and the fact that they still haven't found her, so many years later, is remarkable.
Wanting: I'm eyeing these woven flats! I already have them in brown and I love them because they have a hidden wedge (that's truly undetectable) that makes them so incredibly comfortable. This cashmere dog sweater tee is SO good. If there was a cattle dog on there, I'd buy it immediately so those of you with dogs, check to see if your breed made the sweater! This is a timeless cable cardigan. This is a pretty red print that works now and could be worn into early fall. This shift dress is absolutely stunning! The color! A darling cherry-red cardigan. This little raffia pouch is adorable, and I love the brown suede that just came out for fall. Love the punchy color of this lightweight sweater. Very into this easy breezy linen top. The prettiest shade of blue on this cotton crew. Saw these striped tees in person this week and they are as classic as can be! A gorgeous linen dress. A pretty brass table lamp. I love the deep brown croc of this bucket bag. Isn't this striped skirt perfect? We are definitely entering the late 90s/early 2000s of handbags coming back around like this little red suede bag. Sometimes I see some of these early 2000s pieces and think they look dated, and there are other times that it warms my millennial heart. An adorable printed sundress on major sale. A cute throw pillow! I am a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader show fan so when I saw this sweater tee, I thought of the Cowboys immediately so one of you Cowboys fans needs this!
Eating: We made this cod recipe the other night for dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. You can barely see the cod under the tomatoes! It tasted like something you'd get at a restaurant. We served it with orzo and mixed greens. It was the perfet light and fresh summer dish.
Drinking: The recipe above called for white wine, and we don't really drink white wine, so I randomly opened this Duckhorn Chardonnay. I love Duckhorn Cab, but I wouldn't have even taken a sip of this Chardonnay. The only reason I tasted it is because my husband tasted it, and he said it was really good. I was skeptical, but I tasted it and wow. I loved it! This bottle was a 2016, so I'm honestly surprised it kept well. I'm going to grab another, obviously much more current bottle of Duckhorn Chardonnay and see if I like it! I find white wine to taste too light and doesn't have enough depth, but this chardonnay tasted complex, almost like a cabernet in that respect.
Striped Dress (on sale)
Sale: I tried on the striped dress while at the Galleria the other day. It is gorgeous. Fully lined with pockets. I am wearing a size 2, so size down! I wore the shift dress, which is a cute and lightweight cotton dress perfect for the heat.
A reminder that the Lake sale is still going on and ends tomorrow! They added some new styles yesterday, so it's still worth a browse. They won't do another sale until Cyber Week in November.
I think Pamela Munson makes the prettiest handbags, and right now there is a 25% off sale with code SUMMER25.
Watching: I watched the Netflix documentary "Amy Bradley is Missing," which tells the story of a 23-year-old woman who goes missing from a cruise ship. It's a frightening story, and the fact that they still haven't found her, so many years later, is remarkable.
Listening: I love the Watercolors station on Sirius. I'm someone who always has background music playing. I found this playlist on Spotify and have been playing that while I'm at home. If you enjoy background music without lyrics, this is worth checking out. I definitely skip some of the songs, but overall, it's not bad and fills my Sirius void while I'm not in the car. Also, I fully realize I can play it on my phone, but I just prefer Spotify.
Loving: I was doing my laundry the other day, and it reminded me to share these kitchen towels again. I've had them for over a year, and they are the absolute best kitchen towels. For $11, you get 4, and they are truly better than those from Williams-Sonoma!

Pittsburgh: We did the time-honored Little Tokyo to Betsy's pipeline on Saturday evening, and it was delightful. I hadn't been to Betsy's in ages, and I got the strawberry cheesecake ice cream, which was delicious.
Amazon Rec: These sunglasses are a good designer look for less and I generally find this brand's lenses to be better than most of the Amazon cheapo sunglasses. These are trendy right now so It's not something I'd spend a lot on unless they looked perfect on my face (they don't) so I may order this pair for my Portugal trip!
I just reodered this hair mask. It's one of my all-time favorites to restore hydration and shine!

I bet you like the Duckhorn Chardonnay because it's "buttery!" I never cared for Chardonnay until someone served me buttery Chardonnay and now I always check for it!
Thank you so much for the recent men's clothing recs. My beau & your husband have similar styles. He loved the Land's End sweater and I'm adding today's J Crew Factory shirt to my cart. -KLV in PHL
