Lately

Happy almost weekend! First, I want to wish my husband a very happy anniversary! We celebrated this past weekend because today, we are making the long trek to the lake! We had a lovely dinner at Del Frisco's, which is one of my fave spots in Pittsburgh. Then we went to the Pittsburgh Symphony/NAS concert! I had never heard of NAS before, but my husband likes him! Even though I didn't know any of his songs, it was still such a fun time! The night before, we had fun with friends at their club, playing trivia! We came in 3rd place and had fun!

I'm excited to spend some downtime at the lake. It's always nice to be surrounded by family and friends, relax, enjoy good food, crisp drinks, and read a few books!

I actually went through with it and got a French manicure, and I am so pleased with it. It's SO subtle. Sometimes, I look down, and in certain lighting, it almost appears as if I have clear nail polish on my natural nails. In other lighting, you can barely see the white tips, and it looks like I have a solid pinky neutral on my nails. My nail tech used one coat of bubble bath as the base. I told her I didn't want that, but she told me there is a new formulation of bubble bath and it's not as peachy as it once was. She was spot on, and I really like the newer bubble bath shade! For the white, she used funny bunny, which is a more sheer white so the tips don't appear so stark.
Wearing: Just a few easy outfits I've been wearing lately in the humid heat.

Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK! You can also find me on ShopMy, another shopping platform!

Eating: Have you all heard of Mezeh? I hadn't until it recently opened here in Pittsburgh. We grabbed it for lunch the other day and WOW! It's incredible. We don't have a Cava, and this is totally filling that void. According to the Mezeh website, they say, 'We use only the highest quality ingredients, like locally sourced produce, 100% extra virgin olive oil, Chobani Greek yogurt, and fresh herbs and spices.' I like the sound of that. Truly, everything was so fresh and flavorful. I built my own bowl with a base of power greens and arugula, and I ordered half Shwarma chicken and half Kabob chicken. Both were excellent. I was most excited for the pickled onion, beets, and turnips. Divine! The bowls are huge, and I ended up eating it two days in a row for lunch.
Drinking: My husband bought this 'Top Dog' brand of canned cocktails for the lake. I'm not a canned beverage gal. As I imagine most people prefer fresh cocktails like me, sometimes a canned cocktail down at the dock or on the boat is just easier. The pack had a few flavors, but this one was my favorite. Light and fresh and no fizz.
My discount code is WINDZIIP for 10% off.
Sale: Ziip just launched a bundle where you can get a full-size gel and three travel-sized gels included. The gels are not cheap, and I've tried the off-brand Amazon gels, and while they work, they just don't work as well as the Ziip gels.

I love these sneakers on sale! The colors would match quite a bit!

Mille is doing an extra 50% off their sale with code EXTRA50OFF! Their pieces are pricey so this is the time to shop! I have this dress in other prints and love it so much. It's such an easy dress to throw on and look put together in the heat of the summer. It ends up being $129 with the code! I wanted this timeless cardigan last fall, but the $700 price tag deterred me! It's now $245- much more palatable!

The Sue Sartor sale launched today, and you can take 30% off with code SUMMER30. This seersucker dress is a standout. If you've got fall on the mind, I really love these boxy balloon sleeve tops and the long-sleeved short flounce dresses

ThirdLove is having an underwear sale. I don't have experience with their underwear, but I love their bras. I just ordered almost all of the thongs they offer to try them out because they don't make my beloved Hollister underwear anymore!

I did not realize Mi Golondrina ever has a sale, but they do right now! Their pieces are pricey but unique and have always been worth the splurge to me. I really love this gorgeous skirt. This is another great skirt you can wear now and into fall!

Watching:
And this is, my friends, is how you do crisis PR. Brilliant and witty!

Loving: My first-ever Mackenzie-Childs purchase! They had a sale a few weeks ago and I loved this 'cheese board'. It's the perfect size for everyday use as a cutting board. I love the beautiful check pattern and was blown away by the quality. The knife was a bonus, as I'll likely never use the 'cutting board' as a cheese board, but it's so nice. I'll definitely be using that with other cheeseboards!

Wanting: New J.Crew arrivals
are always exciting! I like this cable short-sleeve cardigan, this shirtdress, this denim skirt, this handbag (warmed walnut is stunning), and this cashmere sweaterThis golf dress is too cute. One of my fave self-care brands is doing a collaboration with Joanna Czech, a well-known facialist. I'm intrigued by this rosemary enzyme cleanser. This is vvvv pricey, but it's a fun and elegant take on denim. Love to see some rugby styles coming 'back'. Very into this inexpensive, framed artwork. I don't have an Apple Watch, but if you do, I think this band is beautiful and what a great price point! I love to browse The Real Real, and this beautiful Hermes silk scarf caught my eye because of the fun colors! I love our Epicurean cutting boards and had no idea they make cooking utensils... definitely keeping in my back pocket for a good stocking stuffer for my husband! What a cute denim dress! I love this brown gingham dress because it can be worn in the early fall heat! Have you all heard of the brand, Liffner? It's been constantly catching my eye for months. The bags are gorgeous without any glaring logos and at a reasonable price. Specifically, I can't stop thinking about this little bag. A very cute sweater tee that comes in many colors. I like these denim flats- a different, more classic take on the trend. Varley new arrivals always catch my eye! I have this shift in several colors/fabrics, and I'm loving this suede version for fall!

Pittsburgh: Little Italy days are coming August 14-17!  I marked it on my calendar so my husband and I could make it, hopefully! Speaking of Italian, we went to Cucina Bella the other night- where we had our rehearsal dinner, so it holds a special spot in my heart! Anyway, I think people sleep on their pastas. We got the vodka pasta for the table and it's sooooo good!

Amazon Rec: I've always used Swiffer brand disposable dusters in my home, but I came across this duster where you can throw it in the wash, and I love it. I think it works so much better than the Swiffer version I was using. If you have dogs, this is a really good thing to have on hand!

I stumbled upon this adorable dress, and it's such a good Tuckernuck look for *much* less!

You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!
Smelling: I smelled this the other day and was instantly transported from 95 degrees and 86% humidity to a crisp October day where the sun is shining and the leaves are showing off. I was sipping on a hot coffee in a light sweater, and sweat was nowhere to be found! This is a really great fall scent that doesn't skew too vanilla/cinnamon/sweet, which can sometimes happen with fall candles.
