My Favorite Phone Cases

burga elite phone case review
L to R:

One of the ways I decide what to write about here on the blog is by answering a frequently asked question, and this one is long overdue. I truly can’t believe it’s taken me this long to dedicate an entire post to the phone cases I swear by. Considering they make an appearance in nearly every mirror selfie I post, you all see them constantly, and without fail, I get asked about them at least once a week. Not only are they worth highlighting, but they're good enough to deserve their own post!

It is particularly fitting today because Apple is supposed to unveil the iPhone 17 today! I also start to brainstorm holiday gift ideas around now (crazy, I know), and these make great gifts under $100. They come in a pretty box, too.

The brand has cases for iPhones (which I use), as well as other phone models like Samsung, and even accessories for iPads and laptops. They offer hundreds of unique designs. Though, apparently, I always gravitate toward the brown and blue ones, ha!

What really sets these cases apart is the ability to choose your preferred level of protection: Snap, Tough, or Elite. I always opt for Elite. It’s the most expensive option, but in my opinion, it's worth it. The case is slim, yet durable. My phone has always stayed protected. This should be the biggest testament to wear and tear because I drop my phone at least 5 times per day. The interior is lined with a soft, suede-like material and features a flexible silicone layer for extra cushioning. I also love the sleek metallic bezel around the camera. It’s a nice design detail. In some styles, you can even customize the silicone color. In the photo above, for example, the blue case on the right has a gray-toned silicone border.

You can also add a ring stand, which adheres to the back of your case with a strong adhesive. And I mean, strong because it has never once become loose or fallen off. I use the largest iPhone size, so a ring stand is a must-have for me. It makes it much easier to grip the phone one-handed, and it doubles as a kickstand when I want to watch something hands-free. I also love being able to hook my finger through the ring when my hands are full. The only downside is that with the ring on the back, the phone doesn’t lie completely flat and won’t work with a MagSafe charger. That doesn’t bother me, but for someone like my husband, it would be a dealbreaker. If you don't have the ring on, the case is compatible with MagSafe.

If you need something protective and pretty, I can’t recommend these phone cases enough. Also on my radar and wish list is this personalized case! The only reason I've held off ordering is that I am unsure if a ring would work on the back of the case. Also, you can clearly see that I definitely don't need another case!
