Lately

Hope you all are having a great week! Mine has been usual, but earlier this week I had a cold that just had me feeling a bit crummy and not really out of comission so it started off kind of on the wrong foot! But I feel better now!

This past weekend was a lot of fun! We had planned to stay in on Friday night, and I was going to make chicken taco soup, but we forgot to defrost the chicken! We wanted to go to my favorite sushi spot, Little Tokyo, but it was jammed! I think it was because we had the most glorious weather on Friday. I went on a walk without a coat or a sweatshirt. Amazing. Anyway, we ended up going to Totopo for spicy margaritas and quesadillas, and it was so much fun. Then, on Saturday, we met friends for a triple date at Meat and Potatoes and then went to the symphony to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. They always do such a good job with their movie shows. Harry Potter is a particularly good one every time!

We don't have a lot going on this weekend. We may go out tomorrow night since it's the end of Restaurant Week and we haven't taken advantage of it yet!

I'm sad about the Steelers loss on Monday! I also saw the news about Mike Tomlin stepping down as head coach! I am not a big sports gal, but I am a born-and-raised Pittsburgher, so naturally a very big Steelers fan. It's crazy when they get a new coach because it's like a marker in time. I've only been alive for two coaches, Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin!

Wearing: I always get in a bit of a rut this time of year. I usually stick to simple outfits like you see above! I have been wearing these Jeans on repeat as well as these Pants. Both are so comfortable and easy to wear.

You can find me on ShopMy, where I link all of my outfits, favorite finds, home decor, beauty, and more! I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also follow me on the LTK app. Plus, you are able to access all of my posts, here, on my website!

Eating: My husband made this homemade vodka sauce recipe, and it was incredible. Between the sauce and the chicken cutlets, it was a very involved meal that made a mess and lots of dishes, but it was so worth it for a weekend meal. The recipe made a lot of sauce. I haven't tried to freeze this sauce, but I think it would freeze well and be nice to have on hand! We love making our own sauces, marinades, and dressings. It's more time-consuming up front, but it always tastes so much better than store-bought.

Sale: Addison Bay is having a big sale. I love their athleticwear!

Salt and Stone reactivated my discount code. It's SYDNEY15 for 15% off.

Spanx is having a big sale. Lots still in stock!

Watching:
I just started the new season of The Pitt. I am not someone who likes to see blood, so this show has me turning away a lot, but I primarily watch it because it is set in Pittsburgh. Most of it isn't filmed here, but it's fun to see what they add to make it feel Pittsburgh-focused. I loved that the opening scene of the first episode featured The Clarks, a hometown band that I've seen many times.

I recently saw that there is going to be a new season of Paradise that comes out at the end of February! My husband and I loved that show, so I'm looking forward to season 2.

I have The People We Meet on Vacation on my watch list. I read the book when it first came out, so I am excited to watch! It's on Netflix.

And lastly, I'm so excited for Summer House. My husband doesn't like reality TV, but he loves this one, so we watch it together!

Listening: I love Olivia Dean, and I saw this clip of her covering This Will Be and it's so fun!

Loving: I bought several of these small glass bowls to use on cheeseboards to hold things like honey. They are the perfect size, and I love the simple and sleek look. It turns out, they are perfect as individual condiment holders, too! They're inexpensive and small, but they have been so useful.

Naadam is a new-to-me cashmere brand, and its beautiful quality is evident. They gifted me this gorgeous cardigan (on sale), and I love the color and the oversized fit. They have so many different styles and many different colors. It's so fun to browse their site.

If I had the storage space for these, I would have purchased them! They were on last weekend's wish list, and I saw them in person, and they are gorgeous! I love pink and green together.

Wanting: This belt
looks designer but is under $100. My go-to mascara is back in stock! I can't believe this is from Walmart. This skirt is gorgeous and has me dreaming up an excuse to wear it in Florida next month! This knit dress is very Palm Beach chic. This dress is cute, and I love the unexpected brown-and-blue color combo! This wallpaper is stunningand so is this one! Love the contrast stitching on this cardigan. These ballet flats are timeless. The color and texture of this sweater are perfect. Hoping these ecru jeans come back in stock soon! This color! The new red light mask has me soooo intrigued! There's also a 2.0 Microcurrent device that is supposed to be stronger. I saw this jacket in the store and fell in love with the color.

Pittsburgh: Loved to read this with all that's in store for the city in 2026!

Amazon Rec: Just got this heatless curl tool and I tried it once and loved the results, but need to play around with it a little more to get the curls to last!

You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!

Smelling: Loved this candle that I found the other night. It smells luxurious and is the perfect cozy winter scent.

Traveling: We are headed to Florida for a few weeks next month, then to San Francisco + Napa for my birthday! I am so excited for both. In Florida, we are staying on 30A (Rosemary area), so drop your recs if you have them, and same for SF/Napa!
