An outfit I am packing! These sandals always sell out in gold before it is even warm enough to wear them. They are such a good look for less of Manolo Blahnik sandals. They're beautifully made and so comfortbale! They're fully in stock right now! My mom has them, too!
We’ve all seen the 1995 classic Clueless, right? Cher had her closet digitized with a program that helped her mix and match outfits before she ever got dressed. I remember watching that scene and thinking it felt so futuristic! In 2026, I’m taking a page from Cher’s book!
I’m heading to Georgia and Florida for a few weeks, and packing for that long always requires a little strategy. It can spiral quickly, especially because I am not known for packing light!! Over time, though, I’ve created a system that makes packing and everyday outfit planning feel less overwhelming. It is efficient and almost like curating your own digital closet.
Because of my job, I photograph most of my outfits. Mirror selfies, quick snaps before dinner, event photos. My camera roll is basically a visual catalog of what I’ve worn (plus a whole lot of Henry photos). But this is not something reserved for influencers. Anyone can do it, and a quick mirror photo is enough.
The key is in organizing the photos. Instead of letting the photos disappear into the camera roll abyss, create albums. Mine are very simple: 'Outfits I Feel Good In,' divided by season.
Whenever I wear something that I feel good in, I add it to the appropriate album. Getting dressed becomes so much easier when you remove the uncertainty. You are choosing from outfits that already make you feel confident.
If you've ever left your closet or bedroom looking like a tornado blew through it with clothes, shoes, etc., everywhere, as you try to pick out an outfit, this will solve that. No mess!!! Before a dinner, an event, or a trip, I scroll through those albums and pull from pieces I have already worn and loved.
For travel, I take it one step further. I revisit those seasonal albums for inspiration, pull the pieces from my closet, style them down to the accessories, and create a dedicated album for the trip.
Part of my Florida Album. These are all old outfit photos that I pulled into an album that I am thinking about packing!
For this February trip to Florida, after months (that felt like years) of boots and heavy sweaters, I first flipped through my spring and summer folders just to remind myself what I had in my closet. Then I built out 'Georgia' and 'Florida' albums with everything I want to pack. It makes packing feel so much more organized and less chaotic.
It may sound like an extra step, but it has become a habit that makes my life so much easier. I know what I packed, I tend to overpack less, and I know how it looks, so getting dressed on the trip is effortless.
I really think Cher would approve of my system!
