I haven't done an Amazon finds since October! I've been slacking! I am trying to get back into the monthly routine! So here are my finds for February!
- I am soooo excited about This Oak House Book coming out in September! I am definitely going to pre-order this. It is written by Annie Meyers-Shyer, who is Nancy Meyers' daughter. Nancy wrote the foreword. I have followed her on Instagram for ages and loved seeing the process of her renovation. It will be so fun to flip through the pages!
- I just ordered more of those Shoe Protector Spray. We love it. It protects basically any shoe from dirt, water, grime, etc, and it truly does work!
- I am anti Apple watch because I don't like the idea of being connected 24/7. I see the Oura Ring often and have been wondering if it is something I'd like to have? The idea of it counting my steps and judging my sleep would be fun to have as stats. I just don't love how bulky it seems, as I get really bothered by rings on my fingers sometimes. If you have one, is it comfortable to wear, and what do you think of it?! It's pricey, so I'm really thinking long and hard about it!
- This Pet Hair Broom is a game-changer!!!! You can sweep it around the carpet, and it will pull out dog hair that you didn't even know was in there.... even right after vacuuming! My favorite use, though, is on carpeted steps! It makes it so easy to remove hair from the steps.
Some items of note...
- It's become clear that I cannot make it through another winter without a humidifier. My skin has never been drier, my nose has been in pain from the dryness, and we keep shocking the heck out of ourselves! It's been so bad. I asked you all for humidifier recommendations, and the three you see in this post are the top three. The #1 by a mile was Humidifier Three. It's unfortunately, the priciest, too!! I'm still TBD on which one to order, but if you have one of these, let me know!
- I just got this Occlusive Face and Body Cream, and I love it already! Another dry winter skin must-have. I have never had a reason to need a product like this, but this winter has been so extreme, so here we are! I use this as the last step of my skincare routine to seal everything in. You only need a *tiny* amount... like smaller than a pea. It glides right on and feels light on the skin. The difference between this and something like Vaseline is that this is only 45% petrolatum jelly. It contains other skincare ingredients, so instead of just sitting on your face, it does a bit more. I've been so pleased with it. I am someone with acne-prone skin, and this has not caused me to break out at all.
- One of my go-to athletic brands came out with a Crewneck Sweatshirt that matches so many of their other pieces. Love a slightly cropped crewneck.
- As much as I love L'occitaine shower oil, I have switched over to this Shaving Cream. It's so much less costly, and while not as luxurious a lather/feeling, it gives me a closer shave with no irritation at all!
