Cold Feet

Yesterday, we got hit with a winter wonderland. It was truly the best. I love the snow. I love skiing. I love bundling-up, fires, hot beverages, lots of blankets and anything else that comes with snowy weather. I don't think I am alone when I say that I really don't like cold feet... I mean who does?

Well... the 6" L.L. Bean boots are not cutting it here in Pittsburgh. We need to bring out the big guns boots. I am debating between several pairs and I need your help...

Option #3: Hunter boots (must have the inserts as well!!).

To be honest, I really don't care what they look like (yikes... I never thought I'd say that). I honestly just want them for function and practical reasons that will keep my toes nice and toasty. Which pair do you have and do you like/dislike them? What do you recommend? Have a fabulous day!

Genious Boots

First of all, happy 1/11/11...that's a lot of 1's! A while back I was reading through the January issue of Southern Living and they featured Lillybee shoes. In one of the photos, the creator, had boots on... they're 2-in-1 boots. My jaw almost dropped because they were so genius-- how nobody thought of this before, I'm not sure.. and if they have, then excuse my ignorance!
They entirely leather, with a stacked wooden heel and they are $295, which may seem a bit pricey, but that is what most riding boots go for-- I would say these beat all of the other options because they have the removable upper! I knew I just had to share these with you all because they are so pretty! Have a fabulous day!

"I'm with you, rain or shine!"

During the dead of winter when it's so very cold and I cringe just stepping outside, I admit, I wear Ugg boots. In fact, I have several pairs. Personally, I think they are very unattractive footwear, and they don't compliment any one very well. I'm a hypocrite, right? Well, not really. I LOVE my Uggs. They keep my feet so warm and are so comfortable. However, when I wear them, I am not only cringing because I dislike walking to class in the freezing cold or snow but I am cringing at myself for wearing the boots. Over the years, I have come up with several just as good options to keep your feet warm and dry in the winter months. These options, in my opinion are a more fashionable option than your go-to Ugg boots.
L.L. Bean Duck Boots- a preppy staple worn by both sexes. They have so many options such as the shearling lined option.L.L. Bean Town and Field Suede Boots- So classic but also stylishTravel Smith Andiamo Riding boot- I love the metal hardware detail.
Ugg BellvueBorn Miriam- You know you will get great quality when ordering these.

Talbots Quilted Riding Boots- These are at the top of my wishlist!
Old Navy Faux Leather Harness Boots- A great cheap option. Only $34.50

Which pair is your favorite? Do you have any go -to boots in your closet? Have a fantastic day!

sCe
