Gift Guide: Etsy

The holidays are right around the corner. Have you finished your shopping yet? I am nearly done, thank goodness! We are down to the wire with Christmas less than 2 weeks away, but here are some Etsy items that I have on my wish list....

This adorable notepad will make jotting down notes and making lists a lot more fun!

I need a new 2013 desk calendar and I am in love with this calendar from Esty boutique, Barefoot Decor.

I have always had a thing for a calling card.  It's similar to a business card but just has your personal information. It's so "old school" and ladylike. With letterpress and a Tiffany blue hue, you can't go wrong!

I've seen the monogram home button idea floating around Pinterest and Tumblr for a while now, but have yet to try it out. It's a little much, but at the same time, I love it. Plus, the decals are super inexpensive, so why not?!

I love needlepoint and this kit is great... and this is about as crafty as I get. For $14.50, you can make your own needlepoint key fob which is a lot less than Smathers and Branson or Tucker Blair!

Lilly headbands galore! Etsy is full of sellers with adorable Lilly Pulitzer headbands!

This monogram pen holder is the perfect thing to brighten your desk. I am thinking about getting one for my desk at work! For $10, you can't beat the price!

Are you an Etsy shopper? What are your favorite Etsy picks? Have a fabulous day!

Gift Guide: Gifts Under $100

I've done a few Christmas Gift Guides but I have been receiving many requests to do an "Under $100" gift guide. To see past gift guides, see here, here or here.

Host/Hostess

I'll Be at the Bar

Decanter/Ice Bucket/Apron
Tub/Monogram Glasses/Lilly Pulitzer Tray

These gifts are for the host or hostess with the most-est. Anyone can appreciate a good bar gift! Monograms and sports teams are a great way to make a gift personalized. I have been eyeing the Tuckernuck decanter for a while-- it is too perfect!

Sporty

Work out

Thomas Kelly Top/Thomas Kelly Legging
LuLuLemon Sports Bra/Nike Shorts/Sephora Hair ties
NeveDesigns Pullover/Gap Yoga Pants

I have the Thomas Kelly leggings and top and love them! I get so many compliments each and every time I am out and about! The LuLuLemon sports bra is perfect for the LuLu loving girl-- you can never have too many sports bras. The Nike shorts are perfect for the girl who has everything because you can never have too many norts! Neve Designs is a personal favorite of mine and so perfect for anyone that loves to hit the slopes. Yoga pants are another "you can never have too many". Want to add something extra special to the gift? Add a Tervis to complete the "sport" themed gift!

Girly Girl

Girly
JoJo Loves You Bling/Be Designs Monogram Pillow/Kate Spade Bangle
C.Wonder Plate/Sleep Mask/Tarte Gift Set
Bobbi Brown Beach/Tory Burch Luggage Tag/ Lilly Pulitzer Make Up bag

I think this is my favorite gift grouping because I am definitely a girly girl. If you want to really give something special, get the Lilly make up case and fill it with your favorite make up!

For Your Boyfriend (or hubby)

Gents
Jack Spade Tartan Bow Tie/Smathers and Branson Needlepoint Wallet/Political Pillows
A Good Book/New Sperrys/Barbour Scarf
Fathead Wall Decals/Brooks Brothers Button Down/Saks Cashmere and Leather Gloves

I'm running out of original guy gifts... my gentleman's gift guide list was just too good last year. Read all of the suggestions, here. I think the political pillows are perfect for the recent grad that needs some decor for his new apartment. The leather and cashmere gloves are another great post-grad gent gift because he needs to keep his hands warm while commuting to work! The Fathead decals are too much fun. I actually thought about getting cCm the Kentucky ones for her dorm, but decided against it. Just maybeee if you live with your guy, stay away from the Fatheads or they might end up in your living room. Yikes!

Have you started your holiday shopping? I am almost completely done and couldn't be happier! Do you have any gift suggestions? Have a fabulous day!

Cyber Monday Gift Guide

I can honestly say that Black Friday is not my thing. I have never ventured out on Black Friday and this year was no different. However, Cyber Monday is much more my speed. All I have to do is click and I save? Sounds like a plan to me! Here is the second Summer Wind Gift Guide of 2012 to direct you to my favorites on sale!

Deal: 15% off through 11/28 with code SMALL BIZ SAT
I have the Black Leather Shoulder bag and love it (see post here). It is definitely a perfect, ladylike, classic handbag that I will have for years to come. I am simply in love with the Caramel Leather Bow clutch and the Creamy Soft Leather Mini Clutch. Both are definitely atop my ever growing wish list! Fun fact? You will be able to find Pink Tulips handbags at Urban Outfitters starting in December!

Deal: 25% off $50 or more with code bf2013
Remember my post about Lemon and Line, here? I think these make the absolute perfect gift or stocking stuffer. At just around $25, these are affordable and a crowd pleaser. Chatham Pink is my favorite-- it layers  beautifully with my other baubles.

Deal: $20 off 100 or more, etc. using code HG12
Starts December 2nd. Country Squire offers all of the best--Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Smathers and Branson, etc. Not to mention, the customer service is exceptional!

Deal: up to 75% off until 11:59pm tonight!
So many good deals on the cutest things! I am loving the "Eat Cake For Breakfast" tote. What a fun gift to give or receive! The Marie pump is another favorite of mine. It is the perfect holiday peep toe, complete with a bow... and at $129, this punchy pump is a steal!

Deal: 20% off, ends tonight, use code CYBER
Piperlime carries a lot of my favorite brands. I am obsessed with this metallic lace dress by Shoshanna. I am thinking the above dress paired with the Kate Spade Karolina pumps make the perfect NYE ensemble, what do you think?
Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy are sister companies and are offering 30% off your entire purchase using code CYBER. Remember my post about the Gap plaid loafers? Definitely the time to buy!

Deal: 30%  off $100 or more using code CYBER12
Scroll through for some of my favorites. Gentlemen, if you are struggling for gift ideas, anything from Bendel's is a winner! Their iconic brown and white stripes are sure to win any girly girl's heart! Not spending $100? Sign up with your e-mail in the upper-left corner and get 10% off and free shipping!

Rugby
Deal: 30% off full price, 50% off sale
The Bettina Corduroy Trousers are the absolute best. I have them in both red and yellow and they are just perfect. I suggest sizing up as I usually wear a 2 or 4 in most brands including Rugby, but ordered a 6 and they fit comfortably.

Gift Guide: Spa Edition

It's that time of year again... Gift Guide time! Let's kick things off with a Spa gift Guide. This guide is perfect for people that "have everything" and for people that are "hard to shop for". Spa products are available in most price ranges which is another big plus!

To get the ideas flowing, here are Summer Wind's top products for holiday 2012....

I have been using this for several months now and can't think of a better product. You use it once a week and it makes your skin smooth and radiant... it's like getting a weekly facial at home.
Perfect for: Anyone that wants skin to have a youthful look.

L'Occitane Aromachologie Shampoo/Conditioner
This is hands down the best shampoo and conditioner. I only use it when I travel because it is definitely more pricey than my regular Dove shampoo/conditioner. It smells wonderful and leaves my hair silk smooth. Perfect for: Anyone who "has everything". This is definitely a unisex product.

I love Fresh's Sugar line. Lip polish is perfect for the winter months to cure lips of the awful chapped/dry spell and the Sugar Passion has just the right amount of color for everyday use.
Perfect for: A beauty snob. This is for someone who loves to try tons of different products. This is a beauty staple and you can never have too many Sugar balms!
Best lip balm. I stash these in coat pockets, my handbags and my car. Purchase a few and use them as stocking stuffers.
Perfect for: Anyone. Young to old, guy to gal, everyone can appreciate a good lip balm.

My dad loves Anthony's products and uses them daily.
Perfect for: Your boyfriend, a male friend with sensitive skin, a business man who travels a lot.

In my opinion, this is the best scent there is.
Perfect for: Someone who likes light scents. Grandma, aunt, mother, etc.

I loved this scent so much that I purchased two bottles. It is limited edition so I was worried it would disappear! It's very light but still has "woodsy" notes.
Perfect for: Your best friend or sister.

Butter London Polish Trio
Perfect holiday shades!
Perfect for: Polish addicts, girly girls alike!

What would you add to the list? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe
