I've been trying to only buy heels because I get more wear out of them (if anyone knows of the perfect pair of nude pumps they love, let me know!!!). But, these leather driving loafers are calling my name... loud and clear.
Drivers are a staple and something both men and women should have in their closet. A good pair of leather drivers should last years... at under $160, these are perfect. Not to mention, depending on what climate you live in, you can wear them anytime... well, except when there is snow on the ground.
Of course, if I was splurging (which I am not because I am trying to have some self control in 2014), I would get myself the classics: Tod's. But this Coach pair should suit me just fine.
My favorite way to wear them? With skinny denim in cold months or with Nantucket red shorts (similar outfit)/white denim come spring/summer. They are a casual shoe so they make for an easy weekend option! Do you have a pair of drivers? How do you style them? Have a fabulous day!
Hi! First of all I would try Target for a pair of nude patent pumps. I got a pair a few weeks back and they are extremely comfortable and cover your toes. I wear them to work as much as possible. I'm not one to wear cheaper shoes because they don't last as long but these are a perfect staple and not extremely high in height (maybe like 2 3/4- 3").
For the driving moccasins I have two pairs (one tan, one black) from Bass & Co. (They also have bright red!). I got them from the outlets and LOVE them. I got both for under $50 each and they are great quality and go with everything. I normally wear them to work when I'm not feeling heels, but I also wear them with jeans and a popover on top for a more casual look.
I have had the J. Crew Montebello Driving Mocs in a copper metallic color for a few years now and they've been fantastic. They're a great alternative to ballet flats/Sperry's and you're right, they work in every season.
As someone who is pretty hard on her shoes (I walk on my toes!) the sole of a driving moccasin also tends to hold up to wear and tear perfectly. Good luck with your hunt! :)
I absolutely adore my nude Chelsea pumps by Cole Haan & Nike Air. They're about 3" and pretty pricey but they're on sale right now at Zappos! Super comfy and classy.
I am bad and have the LK Bennett Sledge pumps in taupe just like Duchess Kate. Also I really like Tory Burch Kendrick driving mocs. I actually have a pair on right now!
I have tan Tod's and love them - it is such a versatile color and looks so rich... Also navy Coach pair that are super comfy that I wear with denim. It is a purchase you wont regret. -Linda, NY
I never really considered buying a pair of driving loafers since I mostly wear ballet flats. Then one day while shopping in my local Tory Burch boutique I spotted a fairly unisex pair of driving loafers that I though might be good for me. They were the Tory Burch Kendrick driving loafers. These ones http://www.flickr.com/photos/39715038@N00/6942009556/ What can I say...I LOVE them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/39715038@N00/6942009704/in/photostream/

Best nude heels I've found are from J.Crew Factory!
I used to have a pair of driving loafers, I need to get a new pair! Anyhow I would wear them with jeans and shorts, they are such a great casual shoe!

Have to agree with Gracie Beth, my nude LK Bennett Sledge pumps are incredibly comfortable and go with everything - I bought them in black, too!
