Lilly Pulitzer lea shift back detail

While in Charleston, I got such great wear out of this gorgeous Lilly Pulitzer shift. I love that in Charleston, everyone always seems to be dressed in their Lilly best! It's a rarity to spot girls in Lilly in Pittsburgh, so I really relished wearing the dress several times while down south. This post is photo overload, so keep scrolling if you want to keep reading!

Girls in Lilly Pulitzer at Grand Bohemian Hotel

One place I wore this dress to while in Charleseton was to Lilly Pulitzer's cocktail party on the roof of the Grand Bohemian Hotel. First of all, the hotel is gorgeous and so unique. The rooftop was such a  gorgeous venue for the event and the weather could not have been more perfect!

This is going to be a go-to dress once the temperature warms up here in Pittsburgh. I already wore it for Easter Sunday! I think the cut is flattering and modest enough to wear to work (with a sweater/blazer), but if you are looking for soemthing with a little more coverage, this dress is the same print, but more modest! It will also be perfect for a number of showers and parties I have coming up in the next several months. I have so many Lilly shifts and can never choose a favorite, but the cute/different back on this shift is really what sold me. How gorgeous is the stitched detail around the neckline and back? Not to mention, the quality seems to have gotten even better! The material is gorgeous and thick, the lining is perfect and the straps are well constructed. Not to mention, it fits like a glove!

If you are interested, for sizing reference, I am wearing a size 2. I'd say it's pretty true to size, although instead of the fit of a typical a-line shift, this is slightly more fitted to your body to give you more of a shape. If you are curvier in the hips/chest, you may want to size up!

All in all, it was such a fun event with Grace and Danielle and I can't wait to wear this dress again!

That dress looks like it was made for you! :) Loved seeing photos from this event! My cousin works at the Grand Bohemian and was telling me all about it and the special Lilly spritzer they were serving all week in honor of Fashion Week!
