Shop the Look:
This week was SUCH a doozy. I'm very ready for the weekend and yet I feel like I have so much to do before I can even get there.

I was in a pretty bad car accident on Tuesday. No one was hurt, and that's all that really matters. It was a semi-truck that hit me on my driver's side. Any other way it could have happened, I would have been badly hurt or maybe even killed. So scary. However, the truck was driving really slowly because traffic was stopped (including my car).  But my car is badly damaged. Another silver lining is that it's still driveable until I am to take it in for the estimate/repairs.

Dealing with insurance is probably one of the least enjoyable things and a big time suck, but I'm just really lucky and grateful I am ok and my car isn't even totaled or anything like that!

This week I also had a lot of appointments and meetings. I feel like I have been running around all over the place. I hope to take it easy this weekend. Tomorrow I'm excited to have dinner with some good girlfriends and catch up with them and Sunday is the Steeler's first playoff game, so I am getting together with friends for that, too!

Wearing: I've been obsessed with this navy blue and white (reversible) cashmere sweater ever since I got it back in December. It's super thick and high quality and I just love the mixed stripes on the cuffs. And, it really is totally reversible. It's like two sweaters in one! I also just found a great dupe for one of my favorite pairs of Ray-Bans. My Ray-Bans are $178, but the pair I found are only $59.50!

Eating: My sister made this broccoli cheese soup in her crockpot and recommended it to me. I love broccoli cheese soup so I can't wait to try it out!

Drinking: Did you see my post about citrus water

Watching:
I started the Marvelous Mrs.Maisel (on Amazon) and I'm only a few episodes in but it's pretty good. The only thing I don't love is that it's very show-tune-ish. That's the best word I can use to describe it. I don't really care for musicals and there are parts where it feels too 'Broadway'. It was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who you may recognize from Gilmore Girls, so it definitely has a bit of her in it and I love that!

Shop the Look:
Sale-ing: I finally got my hands on this Tory Burch Cora dress and I shared this post in my Insta roundup earlier this week, but there are still some sizes left.
Sale-ing II: I'm not a huge Net-a-Porter shopper because everything is so freaking expensive. Nonetheless, I love it. They're having a HUGE sale. Tons of items under $200 and a lot of great summer items and activewear! Scroll through the widget above to see my favorites (and what I think are the best for the price). I literally combed through all of the pages- there were thousands of items!!!

Loving: I got this Avene face mist at a pharmacy in Paris and I love love love it! I use it almost daily. Whether I'm traveling and my face needs refreshing or I just applied my makeup and it needs to be set, this is the best. I always thought that those face spray waters were stupid, but now that I've been using one, I am obsessed! I didn't know you could find it in America (but now I realize it's on Amazon Prime and Dermstore!), so I decided to try the Evian spray and it's not as great. The difference is that the Avene truly comes out as a very light mist and the Evian comes out kind of like tiny droplets, so it's almost like it's sprinkling on your face.

Pittsburgh-ing: Restaurant week is next week! I'm excited to go to a place I haven't tried yet... I'll be sure to report back. One thing I'm slightly disappointed to see is that SO many restaurants have roasted chicken as their meat choice. Yes, I like roasted chicken, but I feel like that's boring/basic and a cheap way out for all of the restaurants.

Wanting: I can't get over all the resort collections out right now. I want all of the bright colors and lightweight fabrics. Luckily, in Pittsburgh, it 'warmed' up a bit. Today is actually supposed to be up to 57, so I'm very pleased about that! Scroll through the widget above for some of my favorites.

Quoting: 'Purpose fuels passion.' // See more of my favorites, here.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear about your car wreck! I'm glad that no one was hurt, but I know it's such a pain to deal with the insurance. Sending you good vibes that everything gets worked out smoothly without any additional headaches!
