I'm not a huge designer worshipper. I have a few Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Goyard, etc. bags, and when it comes to shoes, I am partial to Manolos, Chanel, and Ferragamo. I love a good Hermes scarf or bangle, but when it comes to brand names, they're not my driving force when it comes to shopping. I am also not one to follow trends or designers that are of the moment. I like what I like, and what I like tends to be the classics.
The shopping is bleak in Pittsburgh (to put it lightly), so I don't do much designer shopping unless I'm traveling. And quite frankly, if I'm spending thousands, I'd rather it be on jewelry than a handbag.
Here are some designer things I have on my wish list. I like to stalk The Real Real and other resale sites like Fashionphile since I can get things that brands no longer make but also because there's really nowhere to shop here in Pittsburgh. Just this spring, I was able to snag a pair of new-in-box Dior shoes I had my eye on all holiday season which sold out pretty fast, and I got them for a fraction of the full price, thanks to The Real Real. I also love to shop for designer sales. Right after Christmas, Net-A-Porter had a big sale, and I scored the Manolo Blahnik velvet flats I had wanted for about 50% off! I also love The Outnet for designer discounts.
Silver Flats// I love Ferragamo shoes and these are like an updated version! I also love metallic shoes as I find them to be versatile and can easily be dressed up!
Mini Grace Bag// I've had my eye on this bag for SO long but just haven't gotten one yet. For the longest time, I thought I wanted it in beige and now I'm starting to think I want it in a color! Either way, I'll get this bag at some point. It's so elegant!
Camel Coat// I have a camel hair coat from Brooks Brothers that I love but I think I want the Max Mara version with the belt at the waist. It's iconic and living in Pittsburgh, coats are often the only thing people see of an outfit!
Picotin Bag// This is currently on my wish list, though, I have a feeling it will move off of my wish list in a bit. I really love it now but I'm not sure it's practical.
Enamel Bangle// This is not the exact bangle that I want but it's similar. I have a Hermes enamel bangle in the guadalquivir pattern that I love and would love to stack it with a second matching one! They're no longer made so they're hard to come by on resale sites but I'm always keeping my eye out. I think these bangles are such a fun addition to any outfit and I love the look of them stacked!
Navy Tote// This is no longer made so you can only buy it via resale but I love the simplicity of it. I love the navy but am holding out for a chocolate brown.
Cashmere Shawl// I have one of these already and I love it so much and wear it so often that I'd love another! I probably wouldn't buy this via resale but I want to wait until I can get into an Hermes boutique to look at the options available!
Suede Bag// This is a new-to-me brand that I've had my eye on since last year. The bags are so elegant and just stunning. I love that there are no logos.
Flower Crossbody// I've been eyeing this for years. It's so fun and different and they are usually released in fun prints and materials depending upon the season.
Sandals// I think these are so classic and elegant. They're like the Hermes oran but I feel like these look a little more polished.
