Caftan (under $150)
Some pieces of clothing have limited styling options or are for specific occasions or purposes. That's OK! But I think the most important pieces when building a closet are pieces that can be worn and styled in many ways. This is especially important when traveling, on a limited budget, or with limited closet space.
Not only that, but I think being able to style pieces multiple ways can reduce some of that 'I have nothing to wear' mentality.
We just had a crazy heatwave where the 'feels like' was near 100. That's HOT for Pittsburgh, and I was not a fan. I'm so thankful for the nicer temps this week. Well, in that kind of heat, I was reaching for the easiest pieces and was reminded of this Caftan I got a year or two ago. It's so lightweight and flowy and just the perfect thing to wear in the summer heat. At first glance, you might think it's just meant for lounging, but I wanted to share three simple ways to style this piece! It's under $150 and I find the price to be very fair for the quality!
