Happy almost holiday weekend! I hope you all have had a great week and have some fun plans for the long weekend! We are getting together with friends for a pool party, which should be fun! The weather has been SWELTERING again, so being by the pool is welcome! It was nearly 100 degrees yesterday, which is *not* normal for Pittsburgh. I saw on the news that this is one of the hottest summers on record in Pittsburgh, and I am not surprised in the least. I am usually sad to see summer go, but this year, I'm like, SEE YA!
This week has been pretty 'usual' and I can't complain! The end of August is always awkward with my job since it's still hot, but we are also nearing the fall season, and with that, all of the fall fashion goodness has arrived! I got an email this week from a Christmas tree company. Fun, but also woah, not there yet! Autumn is my favorite and I want to savor every single second of it.
I just hit the four-month mark since I started doing Pilates. I still don't love it, but I don't dread it. It's greatly helped my hip flexors. I look at it like active recovery from Orange Theory, and that makes me appreciate it more. I'm going to continue to stick with it. I wish OTF and Pilates could be bundled into a workout plan because having memberships at both places is pricey! Both my physical and mental health are worth it, though!
Wearing: We went to our friend's club this weekend, which was lovely and a nice change of scenery! It was a gorgeous day, so it was perfect for lounging by the pool. We had dinner there, too, so I took it as my chance to wear this dress from their new fall collection that the SF team sent over. It's even better in person and perfect for the transition into fall! This dress runs roomy; I could have taken the XS, and that probably would have been the right size, but the small is just fine. The waist is adjustable and that's really the only place where it is fitted!
Watching: Is anyone watching anything good? We haven't watched anything good in what feels like ages! We haven't been watching much TV, but I would love to cozy up one day soon and binge-watch something really good!
Wanting: These gold flats are beautiful! This candle holder is gorgeous and begging to be added to a fall tablescape! Love this new hand soap and diffuser launch with the most beautiful packaging! Eyeing these shearling mules on major sale to wear to and from workouts. Two words: Tuckenuck pajamas. They're Pima cotton, aka what Lake Pajamas and Roller Rabbit pajamas are made with- the softest cotton! They're taking over the fashion world, and I am here for it!!!! This pink fleece instantly sold out but I am forever checking in to see if it comes back in stock! I just got these jeans, and they are amazingly stretchy! These hand towels are gorgeous and perfect for a powder bath! This mirror looks like Carver's Guild for a fraction of the price!

Wearing II: I've been so into silver and white gold lately. I love it. I am definitely a yellow-gold girl through and through, but I'm enjoying mixing silver into my mix!
Eating: I made the chocolate chip pumpkin cookies (or muffins) this week, which are SO good. They're not overly sweet, so I think these might appeal to you if you are not a big sweets person!
Sale: Ring Concierge is 20% off right now, including tennis bracelets, necklaces, and diamond bands, which is wild because I don't think their sales usually include those things. I love this tennis necklace, this ring, and this bracelet! My sister and several of my girlfriends all have this mini tennis bracelet and it's adorable! I have a bracelet almost identical to this one, and I love it and wear it often- a classic at a great price. This necklace is also very similar to the necklace I never take off- another classic.

Listening: My husband and I have been obsessed with Hey Driver by Zach Bryan and blast it in the kitchen while cooking dinner. It's so catchy and good!
Loving: This is an incredible value. Dermstore is having its 25th anniversary this year, and they put together this kit of some of their top products. There are 9 full-size products included and then some smaller products. The Skinceuticals product alone is $110. The kit is valued at over $800. I think there is a great variety of brands and types of products included. I haven't tried the microneedle under-eye patches yet, but I am so excited to try those out, as I had those sitting in my cart for a while.

Breakfast Burrito
Pittsburgh: We recently got takeout from Wild Rosemary Bistro, a new concept from the former Wild Rosemary. Pittsburgh has a few fantastic breakfast sandwich spots, but not enough, in my opinion! I am so glad to have this nearby! It was wonderful, and I know we will be back soon. If you have ever been inside WR, you know it is tiny, so takeout was the right option as it was crowded. They have a few outdoor tables, too, which is nice! I'm anxious to try their lunch sandwiches as they all sound delicious.

Smelling: This is one of the best perfumes I've ever smelled. I am terrible at describing scents, as words fail me, but you just have to trust me on this one. It hits all the notes that I know I love when it comes to scents like bergamot and sandalwood, but it's so light and refreshing. It's more like a body mist than a perfume as it's not super strong, and you could reapply it after a few hours.
Traveling: We are headed to Charleston soon to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, and I'm very excited about that! It's one of my favorite places to visit.
