January Favorites ''

A new year means a fresh favorites list! I round up my favorite things each month for a monthly favorites list. At the end of the year, I pull from each monthly list and create a yearly favorites list. Here is my 2024 favorites list. It's my way of keeping track of the very best things. The lists work because when I look back on the past few years, most things on each list are still my favorites. My only rule is that I don't repeat items from month to month or year to year, so there is no overlap.

t3 Aire// My sister got a Dyson Airwrap a few years ago. I used it and didn't really like it. I felt it didn't work well on my hair. My hair dryer is about to die so I figured I would get one of these tools to take place of my hair dryer with the added benefits of the attachments. The short story is that I don't really think this tool replaces a hair dryer or a curling iron... at least for me. It's also a lot of work if you have a lot of hair. It takes significantly longer for me to use this than a hair dryer/curling iron. At first, I thought it was because I just needed to get used to using it but after watching a lot of tutorials and trying it many times, I just have a lot of hair and hair that needs high heat so it takes a long time. However, I love the results and prefer the results from this over a hair dryer/curling iron combo. This tool isn't something I'm using daily and I certainly would not fork out $600+ for something like this, but I actually like this tool and am really glad to have it in my arsenal. I used my code SUMMERWIND on this and it saved me around $45ish.

The Everything Brush// This is what I use to blend all of my liquid and cream products. I've been using it for a year or two and I'm convinced it's the best blending brush out there!

Tweed Dress// I have this dress in red and it's the most beautiful dress both in quality and the way it looks. It feels very 'Princess Kate'. It runs true to size.

Mug// I got this mug for Christmas and it's gorgeous. I've been wanting to collect this pattern so that was my beginning! I want to collect all different colors, not just one.

Earrings// These are gorgeous earrings for under $100. I have been wearing them nonstop as a great alternative to diamond studs.

Custom Dog Keychain// My neighbor got me this for Christmas which was the sweetest and most thoughtful gift as she knows how much I love Henry and also loves her pups so much. It is so adorable and I am not much of a keychain gal but I have this on my LV wallet and will never take it off!

Calendar// This is the most beautiful calendar. Karen Adams sent it to me and I smile each time I walk past.

Bralette// The BEST bralette. I love a good bralette for daily wear and I've tried many. This is by far the best. It's incredibly comfortable and truly feels like I'm wearing nothing. The size chart is spot on. I've since collected quite a few and even wear this to pilates and Orange Theory as it can double as a sports bra. You can use code SYDNEYCFS15 for 15% off and free shipping.

Cutting Board// My mom got my husband this gorgeous chopping block for Christmas. I'm blown away by the quality. He's been using it every night that we make dinner! It says 'out of stock' usually but if you put in your email, within a few days, you'll get a restock email and if you act fast, you can order. That's how my mom ended up snagging my husband this one!

Austin Hope Cabernet// The best cabernet I've had in recent memory! It's so velvety smooth and flavorful. 11/10!!

Cutting Board// We are trying to get rid of all of our plastic cutting boards and I found this brand which is made of composite paper... or something like that. Anyway, I love them. I got a few small ones that are easy to pull out for quick things like cutting fruit or whatnot when I don't need the bigger chopping block. I don't bput mine in the dishwasher and instead hand wash but it says you can put them in the dishwasher.

Faux Fur Coat// This coat has become my winter personality. I wear it every single week. It reminds me of a vintage mink coat that all the ladies had from the late 80s and early 90s. It looks so real. It runs true to size. I got a size small. Use code YOURULE at checkout to save 20%.

Ice Cream// My sister told me this was the best store bought ice cream and she was not wrong. It's incredible. So flavorful and creamy. It's dangerous that I have learned about this, ha!

Cardigan// This cardigan looks just like a Jenni Kayne $500+ cardigan. It's truly just as nice. The most beautiful quality cashmere and the price is truly unprecedented. It's one of those pieces you will open and be shocked by the incredible quality.

Body Lotion Serum// This will certainly be on the 2025 favorites. I've been using it for a few months now. It's a hydrating serum and the consistency is like a lightweight body moisturizer. I love that it's in an aluminum pump bottle, the scent is light- I don't love it but it's not bad, and it's so easy to apply right after the shower. It sinks in quickly and leaves no residue. It's replaced my moisturizer. You can even use it on your face as it has skincare ingredients in it. It's free of things like parabens, phthalates, etc. It hydrates my skin so well. You don't even need to take my word for it, there are nearly 1000 5-star reviews.

Bamboo Sheets// These are the BEST sheets. As a staunch 100% cotton percale bedding gal, this is saying a lot because these are 'bamboo'. I was hesitant to even try them but I've been sleeping on them for months and haven't talked about them nearly enough. I rotate through our bedding and I've tried so many different brands. I really love Serena and Lily and The Company Store so that is what I'm used to. However, I go out of my way to do laundry so I can use the bamboo sheets. They get better with every wash. They feel silky like sateen but still crisp like percale. It's hard to describe until you feel them and even when I was opening them, I was hesitant, but once you sleep on them a few nights, you will be changed! I haven't gone through summer with them, so I will see how they do in the warmer months, but I think they'll be great.
